Really user friendly
It comes very well packaged and includes pretty much everything you might need. There is a main screen with two different mounts, plus a rear camera with a sticky mount. Also included are a few small cable sticky mounts and a tool to lift car trims / door rubbers so the cables can be neatly hidden, plus a generous 64GB micro SD card already installed. There is a cable to go to a cigarette lighter power supply, (which also has a USB A connection built in to it, maybe useful for connecting other items).I connected the rear camera and got that in position early on, so I could use the cameras when positioning the main unit. The rear camera has an additional red lead that can be connected to the car to enable the screen to be used as a reversing camera. The screen is quite wide but it’s not too tall so it doesn’t obstruct my view. The front camera is fixed to the back of the main screen. It can be raised/lowered on a slide mount, and can also be swivelled to a limited extent to aid positioning. Running the wires was time consuming but it was worth it to finish the job neatly and the tool supplied certainly helped with this.I was a little anxious about connecting my phone via Bluetooth since technology is not my forte, but actually it was easy. I have an iPhone, I didn’t even need the instruction booklet, I simply turned the screen on, went to Carplay on the main screen, made sure Bluetooth was on, on my phone, then the screen told me what to do, and gave me a number so I could pair it with my phone, worked like a dream. The screen itself is bright and clear with good contrast, it is a touch screen so once paired it is easy to navigate.I found the inbuilt speaker to be clear but quite quiet, so if you need volume, I would suggest you use the car speakers. Maybe there is a volume control that I haven’t found yet.Overall a neat solution to connect your phone to your car, with good visual clarity for use as a SatNav etc.

Good non-intrusive upgrade to older cars to get Apple CarPlay
I have an older car and it doesn’t have the dashboard space for a built in CarPlay unit so I began looking at options that could be mounted from the windscreen. This one I went for due to the large screen size but low profile so that it doesn’t obstruct the view out the windscreen.Initial setup was very easy - literally just plug it in to the 12v power port. The screen comes with 2-3 different adapters so you can mount it to the windscreen with a suction cup or stick it to the dash with adhesive. My iPhone connected with no issue and CarPlay works as it should - Spotify, Google maps and Waze. Initially the FM sound output option (where you tune the car radio to the transmission by the device) had poor bass quality so I used the aux cable instead which was better bass. The screen quality is very clear with auto brightness which you can set the min/max on which is nice. Had no issues controlling with my fingers. The included power cable has a USB port so you can still charge your phone - ie it won’t take up the power slot. The camera on the back of the device that faces forward is clear and bright. There is an included SD card for recording footage so no need to buy your own.Next on my list will be to install the rear camera and also tuck the power cable under the dash to look better. There’s an included plastic pry tool to do this with.Overall very happy and a lot of screen for the money!

Modernise your old cars!
Well what else can I say other than I’m really really impressed!I’ve been putting in the miles with this car stereo as it has accompanied me on many a journey now and has never let me down yet! My old Nissan doesn’t have AppleCar play like our other family car so I wanted something similar and I stumbled across this!It was really simple to install and the 9.26inch screen is super crisp and makes things easy to use as you aren’t trying to see what’s on screen - it’s very clearly in front of you!The addition of the cameras are fantastic, they work as well as any dash cam I’ve seen and gives me peace of mind that if anything was to happen on the road I’d have it recorded. It comes with a 64gb sd card for recording and whilst you’d think it’s not enough the loop technology means it’ll just overwrite old footage without you having to do a thing (whilst of course you can save any clips if need be so they don’t get deleted)I connected it to my iPhone with ease (just as simple as any other CarPlay system I’ve used) and there been no lag or connection cut outs. I have access to all my apps such as music, maps and audiobooks all of which run smoothly and sound great. The mic is also super handy so I can ask Siri for directions or take calls without my hands leaving the steering wheel. It looks really slick, it’s the most modern thing in my car I believe so certainly stands out!All in all I’d highly recommend it to those whose old cars need a bit of modernising!Great stuff!

Great product for the money
I bought this as my car is rather old and I really wanted to have apple CarPlay to use with my iPhone. The screen is perfectly adequate, it’s bright even in sunny conditions and it is responsive to touch inputs. It doesn’t feel laggy which I thought it might as it was much cheaper than some options out there. I use it via the FM transmitter or Aux cable and it works really easily, the built in speakers are ok but I wouldn’t want to use them for listening to music. I only really use it for carpplay but it’s nice to know other people without iPhones could connect to play their music through Bluetooth as well. It does crash sometimes, and when it does it tends to keep doing it for a while and then starts working fine again after unplugging and plugging it back in a few times. That’s a bit annoying and why I marked it down a star, but for the price I think it’s still good value for money - it has transformed the entertainment in my old car!

Good concept but development could make it better
The concept of this product is superb but a few things I found on my journeys and use need to be addressed further to make it five star in my opinion, and of course this is only my opinion that follows. The screen was the first thing I found should be improved namely the brightness as is it's just not bright enough, the sound I though could also be a little louder in volume and brightness and volume I had turned up full on this unit, the dash cam worked super and a few journeys later my windows laptop couldn't view the footage but I won't blme the Lamtto unit for that as it may well be software on the laptop though it functioned very well for some of the early journey footage. The worst part of all is the fixing mounts, the dash fixing mount ...I wasn't in favour of that really as it is taking some of the drivers view through the windscreen and if you should leave it there and take it to a certain well known outlet that services and MOT's cars...they put an advisory on your MOT that it's in the drivers view...even when they fit them themselves at their workshops..............the suction cup was what I chose to use....UTTERLY USELESS....there was far too much vertical movement that shakes like mad and I found this ridiculous in my car to provide such a useless piece of equipment, I had to go and but a decent suction unit and adaptor to keep the unit stable...and that cost me a further £27 for that so you have to add that on to the cost of the unit.....the unit is still using your mobile phone for it's WAVE app and so the unit was relying on my iphone........if I use the iphone on it's own the screen is much brighter and the volume is greater........yes I know the Lamtto has other media facilities which are useful to have if you desire them. However for me I felt a little disappointed with the unit, may the maker will adopt a better suction cup for stability and work on the other things I found needed attention.......as I've said it's just my opinion and I'm sure many have been pleased with this unit.I attached some photos and the last is of the suction cup and extender I found I had to use.

A breath of fresh air
My 2013 Focus has soldiered on with its factory stereo for far too long, so unboxing this 9.26-inch LAMTTO screen felt a bit like giving the car its first breath of fresh air in years. Pairing could not be simpler: my iPhone and my partner’s Samsung both latched on to Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto almost immediately, no cables in sight. The laminated IPS display stays perfectly legible even when rain lashes the windscreen, and the twin cameras—a 4K unit up front and a 1080p rear—record straight to the included 64-gig card.Sound quality is better than expected. Through the AUX lead it is every bit as clear as the original head unit, Bluetooth 5.0 holds its link without fuss, and the FM transmitter is perfectly adequate for podcasts, though it does steal a little bass from music. The silicone pad keeps the screen planted on the dash even along rutted farm roads, but the hefty power cable looked untidy, so I spent an hour tucking it neatly behind the trim.Voice control is brisk. Siri catches directions between gearchanges, as does Google Assistant, yet the tiny internal speaker is really suited only to navigation prompts, so you will want the audio routed through the car’s own system for anything else. That is the sole compromise I have noticed so far.You get a roomy touch screen, front and rear dash cams and painless phone mirroring. It has a few rough edges, but, like a misty walk up Bennachie, the view at the top more than justifies the effort.

Buy and Try it is fun
First impressions are that this is a great buy, well made, lots of accessories etc. I have an old vehicle without any entertainment systems and I am not particularly great with technology. But I was very surprised, I plugged it in, turned it on and it worked straight away. So my confidence soared. I was so surprised at what it can do and how easy to do it. When I bought it I thought that it actually contained GPS software on the system but it works from your phone (I have never used my phone before for GPS, so this was a challenge or so I thought). After downloading Android GPS software to my phone, I was concerned that I would not be able to fathom out what to do, but, after connecting my phone and starting the software, hey presto it worked. So now I am getting far more confident with the new smart screen.I really liked the screen size, large and looks good. The touch screen is nice to use not like my old Sat Nav, Setting up the camera I have not done yet but will in a few days time. I have used it to play music and I am trying new things all the time. I am excited to use it and to try new things it is just fun.So overall, from unpacking to fixing and setting up everything so far is really good and I am really enjoying the new things I can do with it.The only downside is that my wife is fed up with me talking about it (so will have to be careful what I say in future).I will post further update review when I have got the camera and reversing working.I would say buy and try well worth it.

Absolutely Outstanding CarPlay Upgrade — Worth Every Penny!
I’m really impressed with the LAMTTO Wireless Car Stereo with 4K Dash Cam. It’s changed my driving setup and offered more than I expected.Setup was extremely simple — I turned on my phone’s Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi and it connected to Apple CarPlay right away. The 9.26” IPS touchscreen is bright, responsive, and sharp, so navigation and media control are a breeze. The automatic brightness adjustment is a nice touch and keeps the screen readable in all lighting. The highlight is the 4K front camera with a 1080p rear camera. Video quality is excellent both day and night, and the adjustable front camera lets me capture exactly the angle I want. Features like loop recording, G‑sensor protection, and automatic parking monitoring add valuable peace of mind for everyday driving.Wireless AirPlay and Android Cast mirror flawlessly, which is great for videos and photos. Bluetooth 5.0 gives clear audio, and calls through the built‑in mic come through well on both ends. Having multiple audio options — Bluetooth, FM transmission, AUX, and built‑in speakers — is very convenient. The included 64GB SD card was a lovely bonus — ready to record straight away. Customer support has also been friendly and responsive, which boosted my confidence in the purchase. All in all, this LAMTTO system is a superb all‑in‑one upgrade: CarPlay, dash cam, backup camera, and a large, attractive display. If you want to modernise your car without swapping the factory head unit, this is one of the best options I’ve found. Highly recommend! 🚗✨
