This is my second one. Love 'em.
This is the second whiskey one I've bought, and I also have them for scotch, tea, cheese, and coffee! I love these. I especially like using the whiskey and scotch ones with the whiskey advent calendars I get. It's a great way to truly enjoy the experience of each one.And I like referencing the books to see what whiskey is worth ordering out (where one pays more) and which I may as well skip.

Such fun
Great I bought them for all my friends. Too bad I lost my own I will order another and have to taste all those whiskeys again (sigh…) life can be a chore. I am going to order enough to have them in stock for my fellow whiskey campfire friends.- Lifeinkilts!

For whisk(e)y experts or novices.
Super C͜͡o͜͡o͜͡l͜͡! Product. Easy to carry with you to the bars or distillery so tasting notes can be recorded. Shame you can’t see the pages on the website. Each page has section for full description, nose and palate notes, and a really neat graphic for recording variety of characteristics of whisk(e)ys. When lines are connected, one can easily see patterns develop that capture your own preferences. Neat gift or buy one for yourself.

Good guide for directing your sampling.
I enjoy sampling fine whisky and this notebook helps me to identify key features and characteristics. I highly suggest this for a beginner or an experienced connoisseur of whisky so that wherever you are you can record your experience with fine drams.

Nice for the price, but could be better
I bought this notebook because I'm a big fan of Scotch whisky and I wanted a notebook to keep track of everything I've sampled, record what I like about them, and compare it all against each other. I was already familiar with this brand because of the "33 bottles of beer" edition, so I figured it for a safe bet. For the most part, I am pleased with it but I don't think it's well-suited for Scotch. One problem is that the flavor wheel for each entry omits "peaty", which is akin to a beer flavor wheel that omits "hoppy". The actual space available to jot down notes of the aroma, taste, and finish is also a little small as well.Overall good, though, and it will probably prove versatile when I start recording bourbons, ryes, and Irish whiskeys. Since I'm not aware of any similar products, I would recommend this notebook.

Great book for whiskey/bourbon drinkers!
Love this book. Great for reviewing and logging whiskeys. I use it to keep track of all the different bourbons I taste.

Back pocket book
I don't know what I had expected when I got this...I was looking for gift for a friend who liked tasting scotch. It is difficult to buy something "little" for male friends. I thought it would pair nicely with large ice cube molds which it did. I just wish there was a tasting journal that was a bit more classy yet remain reasonably priced. This journal did seem to have features that would allow the journalist to compile their tasting experiences though and it arrived quickly.

I love these little books
I love these little books. I actually purchased them for my husband for Christmas. I'm not sure he thought they were as cool as I did, but he still said he liked them. I'm hoping he uses them. They are the perfect size for taking with you when you are out.
