Works very well contrary to other negative reviews
So, I'll start with this product works very well if you take the time to watch a few videos and follow the process. As for me I somehow had several scratches in the windshield of my new BMW. Not sure how they got there but I could easily feel them by running my fingernail over them. Luckily, these scratches were in about a 4"x6" area. I used a combination of an electric drill and a right angle drill. I started with the 320 grit sanding (was a bit worried about starting with 100 grit) and slowly worked my way upto the 7000 grit. I found that spritzing with water helped in the sanding process. Do not let your glass get hot. Once I could no longer see the scratches, perhaps they were buried in the haze of sanding... I switched to mixing up the slurry and began the polishing process. Take the time to watch a few videos on this it HELPS! So, during the polishing I started with very light pressure and realized that it would take an eternity plus 1 to polish this out and I frantically started thinking of other options such as a hammer then a phone call to the insurance company...Perhaps I was just missing something, yep, turns out you will need to apply a fair amount of pressure during the polishing process and then you will see significant results fairly quick. I switched between my electric and right angle drill mainly for the ease of use and for working the specific area of my windshield. Do not let the slurry dry, keep a bottle of water to spritz as needed, I also would spritz the felt pad which seemed to really help. Overall, I would say this took a total of about an hour or so, keep in mind I had a bit of a learing curve with how much pressure to apply. Final result, you couldn't find the scratched location even if I told you which half of the windshield to look at. It is spotless, no hazing and NO scratches. With all of that said, I'm very pleased with how this was able to remove the scratches and restore my windshield to a factory fressh condition.

Doesn’t work
The tried it on a very expensive grey mirror product. Not only that it didn’t work, it has actually ruined the entire mirror.A waste of money , time and effort.

Works as advertised but takes time
I bought a new car and of course I wanted to keep it clean. After a week of driving I went to clean bug guts from my windshield. I used a typical kitchen sponge and used the (what I thought to be) mildly abrasive side of the sponge. When I was done I went inside the car and noticed about a dozen areas of scratches all over the windshield where I removed the bug guts. Who would have guessed that a typical kitchen sponge could scratch glass. I brought it to a windshield repair shop and was told that nothing could be done other than to replace the windshield and that there was no way to remove the scratches. I researched online and figured that I'd give this product a try prior to replacing the windshield. It took about six hours (over three days) of work but the scratches were eventually removed. The kit contained everything I needed and more. All I used was the cerium oxide, the felt pads (although I needed more than supplied because of the amount of scratched areas) and the drill adapter. I didn't want to try and use the sandpaper pads. Not even a trace of the scratches remain. You have to buff the spots in the window for quite some time but it did work. I'm very happy with the results but be prepared to work it a while and to clean up the mess it makes.

Instructions?
No instructions included with the package! Have all sorts of polishing tools but nothing to help figure which ones to use! If you’ve never used these items before you will be disappointed.

It works even without directions
If you apply the time it works. The negative is they don't provide directions. Sad...but typical Chinese import...

Messy and doesn't work
It's messy and doesn't work. I got scratches on my ford truck window due to the weather strip. I tried without using sandpaper first and it didn't work. I later used sandpaper to remove the scratches then the power. The sandpaper left removed the scratches and left is cloudy look. The powder didn't do anything. Now window is cloudy and I am not sure how to remove it other than replacing a new window.

Worked well as I followed the process.
The kit worked really well on a badly wiper scratched windshield. Almost completely removed the marks and made the car much more bearable to drive at night and night in the rain. I used the powder first as a try, then ended up using the second finest disc, then finest disc followed by the cerium oxide mix for the fastest results. I used soapy water to lubricate the sanding discs.I used a cordless drill alone for the driver side and a dual action polisher with a 3” pad for just the cerium oxide step on the passenger side. Definitely worth the money and time invested to prevent a windshield replacement. I easily spent 2-3 hours total on the project. The cerium oxide will get everywhere as it slings off the pad, so prepare for lots of cleanup or use other methods to minimize the area affected.

Eficaz usandolo apropiadamente.
