the most horrible kid toy i have ever purchased ! Its comes with specific directions to follow which we did several times to get the end result which is a stuffed animal . The smoke didnt work , it never gave us the toy as well . we had to take the thing apart to get the toy out which is frustrating and by that time the toy was soaked with the water you have to put inside it to make the potion. very disappointing to watch a kid and adults to struggle with whats supposed to be a fun process :( , waste of $50 as well as its not exactly a cheap toy! at the end of opening it up it started to smell like strong burning batteries and started to fill the kitchen with horrible smoke !!! All of this happening at a 9 year old birthday party :/ . The worst gift ever !!!

My daughter LOVES this cauldron. Her excitement the first time through was so fun to watch. The mist makes her feel like she's really making a magic potion and casting a spell. And the replay value is fun too. We always do the create mode because the regular spell mode has no excitement to it and it's the mist at the end that she wants to see. Our most landed probably a good 10 rounds of using the cauldron before starting to need refilling. My only issues: My bad for not paying close enough attention to the different descriptions between the blue and pink mixies but I made the assumption that they were the same...just different colors. The blue mixie is not interactive at all so I was a little disappointed when it didn't do anything. It's just a plain stuffie. I wish it specifically said "Not interactive" so it was clearer. I would have spent the extra $10 for a cooler Mixie had I realized it was more than just the colors that were different. Also, every once a while the cauldron doesn't turn on when water is poured in it. (Yes, we try turning it off and back on to reset it). By sometimes, it activates even when we aren't using it at all. Gave me the creeps when I was reading a book late at night and it randomly starting bubbling. So not sure what is going on but feels like something is a little defective. Overall though, my daughter loves it and wants to do it over and over again and pretend she is a witch.

Now I get the hype over these Magic Mixies - so much fun! This toy features some truly impressive technology! It came with a lot of instructions, but they were clear and easy to follow. The mix of flashing lights, sounds, mist, and the exciting reveal of the toy is truly unique. The toy itself is well-made, charming, lights up, produces sounds, and even snores before falling asleep. The cauldron has a rechargeable battery, and a cable is included. The Mixi comes with batteries, but it's wise to keep some extras on hand just in case they don't work (which can happen). Additionally, it comes with a reset key, allowing you to buy potion refills and relive the fun all over again. Great gift idea - highly recommend!

I ordered this for my 4 year old after we bought an already used, broken, and then returned magic mixie from the store. I needed to think on the fly. This was the right price and got to us quick. She loved this so much, it was a bit smaller than the original one we bought but we were both happy with it.
