Due to a ridiculous design flaw in the roofing between my bungalow and my neighbours coming to my tiny gutter (see pic for an idea), all the leaf detritus from next door and the 3 story block of flatsbehind me (a roof area of about 120ft x 60 ft) backs up and blocks my gutter at eaves level, and all the way back about 20ft up the apex gulley. This leads to terrible drainage and ensuing cascades of flood water directly into my front door (see vid). Clearing the eaves gulley on a bungalow not difficult, at 6'2 could reach up and clear by hand. However, clearing the leaves (that compacted into a leafy compost every time it rains) from further up (the apex gulley) would involve ladders, and clambering 20 ft up a roof every week or so. At my age that was a pain. Enter the scrubby brush. Climb ladder, Stand on ladder. Bend the very strong brush to the size and shape of the gutter. Reach strong extendable pole up gutter. Drag leaves down whilst safely stood on ladder. Enjoy being able to walk out of front door without shampoo and a towel.The screw together poles are strong and dont flex, and it comes with a spare brushy head. Game changer for me. Have no doubt if you lived in a normal 2 story house you could bend the brush right over and clear gutters from the ground. Recommend
