Great adaptation of the novel, which I had never read, but this series was and is among my favourites.
Totally loved this when it was first shown as I was a great fan of both Barry Bostwick and Bruce Boxleitner. It has held up very well indeed, and is a great story, from France, to US, to England, via World War 1 and 2. Living in France I loved the French part of the story and Hugh Grant as a 'baddie', bit different to the roles he plays now, but he did a great job, I HATED him!!!! If you have never seen this, buy it.

Mini series not to be missed.
Scruples we enjoyed in the 80,s, one of the best Mini series on to. Most of the others I have seen especially Mistrals daughter. Anyone who enjoyed the series when they first aired will not be disappointed. All Ladies who enjoy a good film will love all of them.

Haven't watched these DVDs but seem them on tv so I know what they are like my late gr8 gr8 aunt who passed away was involved in MISTRAL DAUGHTER so the other are bonuses good value for money. Excellent service thx again.........

Confused
Didn't realise when I bought this that it was the Dutch version however the track was in English and I soon got used up the Dutch subtitles, it was the cheapest on offer so good value for money

Disappointed that there are subtitles, but a good collection of similar films that I watched many years ago, and will enjoy again.
