Great Replacement, Improved Design
I bought this to pair with my go-bag. However, it would also be a great replacement for most hydration packs. It's everything in one, except the pack itself.PROS:I love some of the unique features of this hydration system.1) The closure is a fold-and-clamp top with a slide-on clamp. This means that the opening is a very wide direct-access top. You can put large pieces of ice in here easily. It fills super fast, and has no awkward lids to fiddle with or leak.2) The round bite valve works great, and seals well. Because it's round, it works the same at any angle.3) The bite valve has an attached cover to keep it clean in any condition.4) The tube attaches to the bladder with a quick-release button. That means it's a breeze to attach and detach, and cleaning and drying between uses is a dream.5) Came with 1 extra o-ring for the quick-release tube attachment6) Came with 2 strap clamps to hold the tube to a backpack strap (though it was a little small for my heavy-duty rucksack's straps/MOLLE webbing).CONS:My two complaints are super minor, but worth mentioning.1) The inside of the bladder has a connector to keep the front and back from pulling too far apart. While this helps to keep the pouch flat and not too round/thick, it also gets in the way just a little when adding ice or cleaning/drying. The wide mouth allows you to add larger pieces of ice, but this inner ligament could restrict some pieces from fitting. I wouldn't have every cared, except for the wide mouth opening allows possibilities that this limits.2) The clamp closure at the top is a little too thick to attach the hanging hooks inside my pack. It would work great with velcro straps. But snaps and some clips won't get through. Workarounds include keyrings, paracord loops, replacement clips, etc. But it would be great if the clamp were designed to accommodate smaller clips, as most hydration packs have.OVERALL:It's a 9/10 for me. It's high quality and functional. The unique design is an asset over other similar products. A few tweaks would make this hydration system perfect.

Didn't fit in my hydration pack, but otherwise seemed high quality
So I will say that my usage of this bladder ended up being very limited. I have an orange mud endurance pack which uses the hydrapak 2L bladder. I was looking at this as a backup and eventual replacement. However the bladder itself is larger in dimensions than the hydrapak, in both length and width, and so it didn't really fit in the pack. It might work in an extreme pinch, so I'll hold on to it as an emergency backup. There were a few things I liked about it and didn't, just looking it over though. Once nice thing I noticed is it has a strip of plastic inside the bladder itself, which I assume to to help when the bladder is drying out and keeps the two sides from coming into contact. The hose portion was about 6" longer than the existing bladder which could be good and bad, depending. One thing I didn't really care for, was the mouth piece where you'd actually drink from had a "cover" piece which isn't too hard to remove, but there was no way to permanently keep it off. Since I frequently use mine while cycling and running I dont want to fill with a cap, I just want ot take a drink and then drop it and not have to think much more about it. That was the main reason I gave it 4 stars.Otherwise, the actual valve you'd drink from seemed quality and the bag didn't have any weird odors or chemical presence I could see and if it fit in my pack better, I think it'd be reasonable replacement option, especially being much less expensive than the hydrapak itself.

leak proof easy to clean
I like that this bag FULLY opens on the top so you can really get in there to clean it. It has a secure slide on clip the top of the bag where you fill it up so the main bladder does not leak. It has a nice little hook to secure it onto your pack. I used it for a camping trip and it worked well though a few times i felt I had to suck pretty hard on the mouthpiece to get the water to flow. The mouthpiece has a nice little cap to keep it sealed and clean. It's a considerable size so you don't have to keep filling it up often.

Perfect for Backpacking
I recently started using this hydration bladder in my backpack, and it’s been a game-changer for staying hydrated on the go. The bladder fits perfectly in the dedicated compartment of my backpack and is designed with a durable, leak-proof material that ensures no spills or messes. The large capacity allows me to carry plenty of water, and the bite valve makes drinking on the move effortless. The bladder is easy to fill and clean, with wide openings that simplify the process. The hose is long enough to reach comfortably while carrying the backpack, and it stays securely in place without getting in the way. Overall, this hydration bladder has proven to be a reliable and convenient solution for staying hydrated during hikes, bike rides, or any outdoor activity. If you’re in need of an efficient and well-designed hydration system for your backpack, this one is definitely worth considering.
