Loved it the way it held together for my 6yrs old b'day party on a beach. we put the cake and food under the Sol Breeze Shade and kids and adults, all alike, loved it.

When I brought this to the beach I was hoping it would be a little more simple to put up. Upon opening there was a bunch of rods that you have to put together inside to keep it up which I didn’t expect, and can be annoying to have to take back down when your ready to leave. Once it’s up, it is nice and does the job well. Just wish assembly was a little easier

Since I’ve usually lugged a large pop up canopy to the beach, I was very excited to try this light weight alternative. It was a little bit trickier to set up in order to get it anchored optimally for height and shade, but once we did it a few times, we got it down. All in all I’m pleased with the lightness and packability.Update: it’s not possible to use this in windy conditions. In fact, the wind makes the entire thing impossible to set up and functionally useless.

This is way more compact than carrying a 7x7 standard 4 leg canopy while I understand they are two different items and functions but if this more in line for what you want at the lake or beach youre going to be really happy with the small footprint this is when packing up.Would recommend set up is a bit tricky at first but once you get a couple of anchor points down youll be up in no time.
