Great product, but buy somewhere else
Wow! This stuff has worked wonders for my facial redness (general redness in the face, a lot of acne as a teen and probably a touch of mild rosacea). I’ve been using this twice a day for a couple weeks in conjunction with The Ordinary’s niacinimide and my redness has subsided quite a bit. In fact, I noticed almost immediate results the first time I used it.There are a few caveats though if you are new to this product:1. Texture - this product is very thick. Some may not be able to use it due to the thickness and occlusiveness of it. For me it helps to “tap” a small amount all across my face then mostly pat it into my skin as opposed to rubbing it in.2. Silicone - this is silicone-based, so you will likely have to use it last in your routine. If you try to add something else on top, like Sunscreen or something else water-based, be prepared for pilling. Also, some people’s skin may not agree with the silicone. But for me, the silicone is better than the alcohol-based competitive products here on Amazon.3. Quantity - there’s not a lot in the bottle. I learned the hard way that you only need to use a tiny amount. Maybe half a pea-sized amount for the entire face.4. Price - DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON! I bought this here for $15, and as of today sellers are selling it for more than $20. Do yourself a favor and buy it directly from The Ordinary or from Sephora, where it’s only $8!!! Even if you don’t meet their minimum shipping and have to pay for shipping, it’s still cheaper than the amazon sellers with free shipping. So all-in-all, this product seems to be working great for me, but YMMV.

Makes My Skin Feel Like Velvet & Good for Rosacea
Azelaic acid is supposed to smooth your skin and help preserve its health (antioxidant). I can't speak for the latter as I just started using it and I combine it with other products (The Buffet, for one). However, it makes your skin feel like velvet on the first use. I had planned on putting other products on top of it but couldn't bring myself to do anything with how soft my skin felt. The feeling lasted all night and my skin looked matte in the morning rather than red and shiny.I bought this product directly from the manufacturer based on it's low price and a Paula Begoun review. My only concern is that I had to use about a marble's worth of the product to cover my whole face so I don't expect the tube to last more than a month.Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Dimethicone, Azelaic Acid, Dimethicone/Bis-Isobutyl PPG-20 Crosspolymer, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polysilicone-11, Isohexadecane, Tocopherol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Isoceteth-20, Polysorbate 60, Triethanolamine, Ethoxydiglycol, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin.Addendum: I had a flare up of rosacea while I was on vacation and away from my prescription medicine. Fortunately, Azelaic Acid treats rosacea (prescription meds are 20%, this product is 10%) so I was able to soothe the redness and burn until I got home. My prescription medicine has just jumped to $87 a tube even with drug coverage so this product at manufacturer's price is a real bargain.Addendum: Been using it for over a year now and remain very pleased with how well it works for my rosacea and how it makes my skin feel and look. I'm going through a bout of rosacea now and can't use a moisturizer because it makes my skin break out in little bumps. Instead, I combine the azelaic acid with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% by The Ordinary (30ml) A Brightening Hydrator with Stabilized Vitamin C Derivative to calm it down.

Didn't work, didn't not work, wouldn't buy again.
I was on Finacea for years, and considered it a miracle cream. Once I lost my insurance, I scoured the internet to find azaleaic acid. I got a few things from Amazon but they did NOT work.I was STOKED to see the Ordinary offer it, and bought it right away. It's ok. Didn't make my skin worse, but didn't make it better.Since then, Paula's Choice has one in their line-up and it's much better - much more expensive, but my redness actually evened out and my skin looked noticeably better. PC is also silicone-free, so it feels better to the touch and is less likely to clog pores.

Helps control my acne. Giving four stars because the texture is really thick and it doesn't play well with other products - pills with a lot of them, so I only use it at night.

Fantastic.
Completely cured my cystic acne. I wash my face and put this on immediately after. It’s a great texture, smooth, almost like a primer. I put my make up right over it with no issues. I absolutely love this product. I can’t believe I spent years trying to figure out how to calm my rosacea and cystic acne only to find this one single product that does both.

BYE-BYE ROSACEA!!!!!!
I absolutely love this stuff! My derm wrote a Rx for azaelic acid (Finacea) it was $273 AFTER a $100 coupon! The sample of finacea worked BUT way too costly and harsh as well. I searched on amazon and tried 2 other azaelic acid products. This one is THE BEST! I regret not taking before/after photos because it really does work. I also like it better than finacea. This product feels really nice on my face!!! I will def buy this again! I use this after I wash, then I cover it with my moisturizer. Great results. Give it a good 2-3 weeks to start!

Brightens and lightens!
I've been using this for a few months now and I feel that it has faded my dark spots and brightened my skin. Yes, as some of the other reviews said, it is cheaper on The Ordinary's website, however with shipping, its the same as Amazon. All in all happy with this purchase. My two cents though, don't put too much on as it will become a little too white on your face. Just a little bit goes a long way and no need to gob it on.
