Please improve the shipping container
I purchased this microwave because the door hinge is offset and opening the microwave door does not interfere with the wall. The microwave works great. So much better than the all plastic GE profile microwave that I replaced. Many people complained about the LED being too bright and some said the microwave is too loud, but I don’t think so. I am an engineer and I think this microwave is well engineered, especially the mounting system. I was disappointed with the delivery which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The microwave is delivered in a cardboard box that is easily damaged. The plastic louver on my microwave was broken so I had to send the microwave back. I was hoping that the seller or manufacturer would just send me a new louver. The seller was helpful, Sharp was not. The seller did make it right in the end though. It took a couple of weeks, but I received a replacement microwave. The box was damaged again and the styrofoam packing was broken, but the microwave was OK. The microwave should be in a wooden crate or attached to a pallet to prevent shipping damage.

Great product
I had the older version of the micro/convection oven in my previous RV. It worked for 20 years and was still working when we traded it in. Bought this new model after two Furrion products didn’t work. Have had it for 6 months now snd it works beautifully. Thank you Sharp for making a superior product. *I do have the same complaint as others that this new model’s LED screen is too bright and the print is too light to see over the brightness, but a small price to pay for something that works.

Great product
Worked as a perfect plug and play replacement in our RV. Use it to cook all the time no complaints, I do wish I could dim the led on the front it is a tad too bright in low light environments

Would not buy again
The fan noise is extremely loud. There is no lights on the control panel that I can find, or they are on a timer and go off quickly. The clock light is bright and it doesn't look to be adjustable. I just got this though, so I want to look into it more to see if there are other adjustments I am not familiar with.

Installation Instructions need help and mounting system is severly lacking.
After 30 years my Sharp Carousel failed, so I ordered a new one. I like the Sharp brand, and some new features in this model are great. All that said the mounting bracket might as well be made of aluminum foil, and the NutSerts in the cabinet cover did not hold. First time I tried to mount it, the nutserts popped out. Good thing for me I have a nutsert tool and put in 2 new nutserts and backed them with washers. Essentially the cabinet cover is so thin that the nutserts popped right out. After that, I remounted the cabinet and went to tighten the long screws that hold the cabinet against the wall, via the mounting bracket. It is so thin that the 6mm long screws stripped the threads with the least amount of torque on the screws. So I went to the hardware store and got long blind nuts and problem solved. In my opinion the mounting hardware is inadequate, for a microwave that weighs 100 pounds.
