The tip of the bottle is perfect for preventing leaks & it also allows you to adjust how much or how little of will come out of the bottle. We bought a 2003 Mercedes w black leather seats/interior & they needed some help. Mother's uses Lanolin in their product which is great for conditioning leather because it absorbs evenly, & doesn't leave an oily or sticky residue. After several applications, it's softer & supple, plus comfortable & it has a subtle scent compared to other products. My seats are like brand new after 22years.

I did a bit of research on leather conditioners before deciding to buy this product and came to the conclusion that this ticked most of the boxes. Lanolin and neatsfoot oil are a couple of the ingredients listed on the bottle, both of which nourish the leather. I decided to just get the conditioner at this stage as I have a new car so the seats are pretty clean.As the centre part of the seats are perforated leather I didnt want the product to get into the small holes of the leather so I looked at a few you tube videos on how to apply. The trick is to put a small amount of product on one side of a folded microfibre cloth and rub gently with the other side of the cloth so that the product is dispersed on the cloth and then gently rub in a circular motion onto the seats doing one panel at a time. I found that less is best as it does spread with a light shine. After about 5 - 10 minutes I then buff it off and most of the shine has gone but the leather looks good. The smell, although not unpleasant is unusual which I guess is to be expected with the leather softening ingredients of the oil and lanolin, its a more natural smell, at least the smell has not been masked withfragrances. I would buy this product again and maybe get the cleaner next time as both products work together.

Let me first start off by saying I hate people who review a product when it’s damaged and shipping. This is a product review not a shipping review figure it out.I just use this on my leather vest “cut“ it’s 16 years old I use the cleaner and then the conditioner. Looks almost brand new. it’s softer and shines.I always try to say a little goes a long way cause it’s that’s not to get carried away or you wind up with results like you’re reading in the lower reviews. But I use a whole bunch of this stuff. I didn’t even quite follow the directions you’re supposed to put it on wait two minutes and then rub it off. I just rubbed it in.I can’t wait to use this on my bike tomorrow.I think what people are running into is they’re putting it on modern products, leather coated.Like I said, my vest is 17 years old and my bike is 34 years old. All my leathers look great. Now they look beautiful..

If you have leather seats in your car, use the MOTHERS spray *same red bottle, just a spray for leather, then get this conditioner. It is recommended that you spray with a cleaner first, then use the conditioner to keep the leather SOFT and prevent it from cracking. It has a nice smell to it and keeps the leather looking nice. And what you want to do is use a nice soft cloth to really rub the conditioner into the leather. Also, a little goes a long way. I used more than i needed and found that it made my seats slippery!! So only use enough to cover the area, then rub it in. Also, you have to put a bit of elbow grease into it bc it will leave marks. You have to really rub it in to make it even and smooth. Otherwise, it will dry, and you will see the spots where you did not rub it as well.

A very good leather conditioner that contains lanolin, which is tough to find these days. It does apply a bit thick and sticky, but that’s ideal for a deeper conditioning treatment, let it soak in and really work. It Makes the leather very supple, without too much blinding shine or sheen. This is a high quality product like all mothers products are.

It smelled great. I'll come back if I have issues in Texas with my leather seats

Went on easily on my car seats and leather steering wheel, no residue left and not greasy, seats were a little slick for a couple days but I probably used a little too much, and it wasn't really excessive at all, I considered it normal for a conditioning product. I chose this based on reviews that indicated it worked well and didn't have a strong odor and they were correct, I didn't notice any odor and the leather looks great.

I've tried several auto leather conditioners and this is my favorite.I've got both black and light colored (parchment) interiors in good condition and it works well on both. It conditions the leather without appreciably changing the color or finish. Several users commented that it left a white film on dark leather. I'd note that the instructions say to only leave it on for a couple of minutes and then buff it off (i.e don't let it dry). I've done this and not had any trouble with my black leather.Smell - it has a mild "non-leather" smell that reminds me of cocoanut.
