Hard disk not working
The hard disk was defective and not working. Since we could not get an electrician to install the hard disk as soon as it arrived, I could not process a return before the due date. Since it is within the warranty period, please refund the amount that I have paid

Surveillance 2TB Hard Disk from Seagate
I have been using Seagate external 1TB for the last 15 years or so and the product never failed me. So, this time I chose Seagate from other brands. However, I am not happy with the packaging. It came in just the polyethene wraps and the eelucate transparent plastic holder. Hard disk is expensive and at least the packaging should be sturdy esp during transportation.

If the box comes slightly damaged, return immediately!
First time the item came in a damaged box. The item was non functional, as electronics cannot survive transport in damaged boxes. Second time we got a working replacement.

Waste of time and money!!!!!
First time I ordered and it got delivered on May 15, 2025 which was was not working so I ordered a replacement and that was delivered on May 21, 2025 and this time even the box was damaged and again did not working and the return window is closed. Now I have to take it up with seagate and get it replaced under warranty. Why should a customer go through all this hassle when it’s not a mistake of his. I suggest never buy this from here.

+rep for Seagate customer service. The drive was faulty but the Seagate service arranged doorstep pickup for me. -rep for the seller for not packing it properly. Returned the product to Amazon.

Disappointed and Still Waiting
The product arrived in nothing but a plastic bag, no proper packaging. Once installed, it made a strange noise and didn’t work at all. Amazon collected it the next day and I have been waiting for a replacement ever since, with no updates.I regret buying this. I saw the mix of good and bad reviews and assumed the negative ones were just unlucky. Unfortunately, I ended up having the same experience. It feels like a gamble, and not one that pays off. Save yourself the hassle and look for something else.
