Amazing. This was the absolute cheapest rug pad I could find. The 1\2 inch upgrade was so cheap I decided to go with that. I can't believe how nice and soft this thing is! Great quality, doesn't look cheap or like junk material at all. Smooth, very soft and a ton of cushion. I threw a cheap 100$ 9x12 rug on top, cut of about 4 inches so it covered the entire pad, and turned this rug into the softest and beat part of the downstairs. Awesome value, more expensive than the rug, but well worth it. Go with a cheaper rug and get this rug pad, it turns a hard useless floor mat into a soft relaxing place to rest your feet.

I love this pad! The thickness is perfect. I’m glad I did not go thicker. Very soft and my hardwood floor looks great with my new rug and pad! Made in USA. Definitely will buy again for other rooms on our home!

Pretty thick and great cushion. I feel like anything thinner would not be thick enough or make a big difference. Feet feels a lot better when walking. It came with No smell. It is a little bigger than the actual size so might need to cut if you don’t want it to show.

These are really nice. I bought them to go under area rugs on top of hardwood. The grip is decent, better with furniture in place. I was pleasantly surprised by the padding it provides. For my use, I with I had gone a little thicker, but the 1/4" padding really takes the edge off the hardness of the floor. It cuts to size, but was harder to cut than I thought it would be. A pair of carpet scissors helps. You'll want help centering large rugs. Overall, a quality product at a fair price.

Excellent pad. Surprised on its thickness and overall size. Not too heavy but a bit bulky as am planning to take to family in Japan! Will need an extra suitcase but definitely worth the effort.

I am really happy with this purchase. Placed it underneath my 8x10 rug and couldn't believe how much thicker it felt. Also, when I opened it - there was no smell at all to the rug. Am so glad I made this purchase.

It’s a good amount of padding, but it is definitely slippy. We need to order non-slip things to put under it. The pad we received was also not a perfect 8’ circle. It’s kind-of a slight oval, so it’s too short in two places and too wide in two places. I’ll have to cut it to make it fit properly. Not sure we’ll keep it, but the options for an 8’ pad are limited.

Thick rug pad perfect for our 9 x 12 rug. It’s only held down by one sofa but so far no slippage. It is soft on foot, but not ULTRA cushy. When paired with our medium-pile rug it’s soft enough for our little one to crawl and play on.

Je viens de recevoir ce sous tapis et quelle différence. Mon tapis se voit rehausser d'environ 1/2 pouces de confort. Vraiment satisfait de cet achat et je le recommande. Belle qualité de feutre moelleux à souhait et prolongera certainement la vie de mon tapis en plus de le rendre encore plus moelleux.

This protective rug pad is good for what we were looking for....really easy to unpackage and cut to size! Wish that I had ordered one that is a little bit thicker as our cowhide rug is quite thin. Nevertheless, I am happy with the quality, ease of cutting and placing the rug pad in the space.

I had bought a rug pad from this company several years ago and it has held up extremely well providing extra cushioning and doing a great job of protecting my hardwood. I felt confident in ordering from them again for a new rug I had purchased. There was a very minor issue with the product that I could have likely lived with. I gave them feedback and found their customer service to be excellent. They sent us a new pad without any hassle. Pad was exactly as described. I would be very confident in buying from rugpadusa again.
