My Detailed Experience with Vegetarian Capsules
I am happy with these capsules. I noticed some reviews expressing concern that these capsules are made from “wood pulp.” After looking into it myself, I found that most vegetarian capsules are made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, which is derived from plant cellulose and is commonly used in dietary supplement capsules and other regulated health products. From what I understand, plant cellulose is a type of fiber that passes through the digestive system rather than accumulating in it. The fact that it comes from wood does not mean it is the same as raw wood pulp in its original form. According to what I read online, it is highly purified, breaks down during digestion, and does not accumulate in the body, which makes it safe and effective for use in dietary supplement capsules. I have been filling these capsules myself, and they work well. I made a small funnel out of a thin, flexible piece of plastic sheet, like the kind used as backing for children’s stickers, and shaped it so that it fits into the larger half of the capsule. This allows me to fill the capsules by repeatedly squeezing the funnel, which makes pouring powders much easier and less messy. I fill the larger half and then close it with the other half. I use them for powders such as turmeric and spirulina, etc., which can otherwise be quite messy. Also, some of the tinctures that I drink as supplements and have an unpleasant taste for direct consumption, I fill them in capsules and if they are drunk the same minute I put the liquid in half the capsule and immediately close it, it does not fall apart and I can safely use the capsules for such liquids. I divide 1 ml of the tincture between two capsules, but I first fill and take one capsule before filling the second one. Of course, you can buy ready-made filling kits from Amazon instead of this funnel. I chose larger size 00 capsules to hold more, which are about as tall as the diameter of a 25-cent Canadian coin and approximately 8 mm wide. As far as I know, this is the penultimate size and the largest is 000. They might seem large to some, but I am used to taking them. Sometimes I hide the filled capsules in something creamy, like yogurt, placed on a spoon, and swallow them with a single spoonful without chewing. Well, that’s it. I hope my review can help someone, because I was looking for a detailed experience like this but couldn’t find one.

Easy to use and perfect for DIY supplements
These capsules have been great for making my own supplements at home. I got the 500 count in size 0, and they’re exactly what I needed, easy to fill, hold up well, and don’t fall apart like some cheaper ones I’ve tried before. I use them with a capsule filling tray, and they fit perfectly. The included micro spoon and tamper tool actually came in handy too. So far I’ve used them with powdered herbs and everything has stayed sealed and clean,no leaking or breaking. Love that they’re vegetarian, non-GMO, and allergen-free, and it’s nice knowing exactly what I’m putting into my body. If you’re into making your own blends or just want to save money on supplements, these are a solid choice.

Brilliant product
I bought these as my dog needs to take a liquid medication every day but he can’t stand the taste of it and trying to get it into him is a NIGHTMARE. He takes a lot of pills so I thought I would give these a go and they were really easy to fill. I thought they may spill over with the amount of liquid he needs but they are a very good size and fit his dose really well even with a little room to spare. Open and close very easily and seal properly so none of the liquid leaks out. He took it straight away with a bit of food! So much easier and way less stressful for him than spending 15 minutes stressing him out trying to get a syringe of liquid in his mouth. For £6 for 100 it’s a no brainer.
