Carhartt Men's Denwood Vest

I hadn’t bought anything Carhartt for a while. Been wanting a vest so I bought this one. I like it so far, have only worn it a couple times yet. It’s just a little snug on my chest, but in a good way. The close fitting “core layer” feels good and will augment the insulation of any coat or long sleeve shirt. It looks great too! Adequate pockets in and out. It’s not very thick but feels well built, as expected!

I bought this as a gift for my husband! He loves that it is extra long as he is tall and very few vests fit him. He likes the extra pockets and that it is heavy duty but not bulky! It’s great under a coat when it’s super cold or with a flannel shirt on those days when a coat is too much. He is hard on his stuff and it’s holding up great! I would recommend and I would purchase another!

UPDATE: the weakest part of jacket is the mesh pocket liner as shown. Purchased in February 2019 and this current photo shows the mesh suffering with holes. Eventually I will have to see an insert. I was looking for a light weight, non-fleece, vest that I could wear as an outer garment on spring days and as an interior garment in the winter... that had some style to it. It fits perfect, which means that the shoulders don't hang over mine and the bottom isn't too long, short or tight at the waist. I picked the gray as it' seemed more casual than the black. It seems well made too.I've had several compliments on it.I recommend it

Love the slightly higher neck and good material with a fleece lining. Good zippered pockets with sturdy zippers that didn't seem to catch (at least for now). Overall, fit was pretty good but the only "problem" area was the excess material in the front part of the arm holes. Other than that it fit nicely with a nice little "tail."

Love this vest! I ordered this in a size down (XL) due to ongoing weight loss. At this time I am 5’7” weighing in at 261 and it is a little snug in the belly when zipped up. If weight loss is not in your future then order a size up. Product is of good quality, keeps me warm even if only wearing as an outer layer over a sweatshirt for the winter weather here in Central Oregon.

I was wanting a light weight but warm vest. Having a number of Carhartt jackets I was looking just the right one. I am 300lb and 6' and bought the B&T 3x and fits perfect. Little room left for the fluffy mid-sections. There are 3 outside pockets for phone, wallet etc. Inside are 2 open larger pockets for gloves I guess. It is nice enough I can wear to work or the job site. Wife is not a vest fan but she even liked this one. Winner for me!

My fiance is obsessed with this vest I bought him. It is very nice material, exactly what he was looking for. He normally wears a large in shirts and I first bought an xl in the vest bc i thought he would need extra room if he wore it over sweaters or hoodies but I returned it for a large. So definitely go with their typical shirt size.
