I received this garden weeder yesterday and immediately put it together for use. Light weight. Easy assembly - just screw the handle sections together. I used all the sections for full length, but if a shorter pole is desired, one or two sections could be left out. Pole is sturdy and comfortable to hold and does not bend when in use. I am very impressed with this tool. The rake end itself has two sides - one with sharpened 'teeth' which has proven itself very useful pulling up surface weeds especially clover by raking it over the ground surface, and a second side which is more of a small hoe which is very useful for when a weed needs to be chopped out of the ground rather than just pulled. Both the rake and hoe features are useful for weeding, and it is easy to just rotate the weeder to use the different ends. Both ends can be used to break up surface soil for planting. I appreciate not having to kneel down to do my weeding now. I did not use this tool in a garden covered with mulch. My garden is bare ground/garden soil.

I hate pulling weeds. This wonderful product is a lifesaver. I cleared out a quarter of the weeds this morning from a very weeded patch in half an hour. I got all the roots and everything. It actually works and it’s well worth the money. I have a problem with bittersweet, it likes to strangle everything and climb up the house. If you’ve ever encountered bittersweet, you know that the roots just keep going. This product is absolutely terrific. It even cuts the roots. If you love your garden, and you do not wish to spread any chemicals on the garden, not only do I have pets, but I have wonderful Creatures living in my yard. The birds are going to love the turned over soil. This tool accomplishes so much. I am so impressed.

This is a decent tool for weeding the garden and landscape features. It is sharp and really pulls the weeds and roots out of the ground. The handle comes in 4 different pieces and makes it adjustable to different heights. While this is a nice feature, I could not get the handle to stay tightened and finally wrapped each break in the handle with duct tape to keep it secure while using. A solid handle would make this tool even better!

It works as well as I expected. I've been gardening a long time, and I realize that the roots and soil have as much to do with successful weeding as the tool. That said, this weeder usually gets the roots and usually gets the plant. Some weeds slip through, but the tool loosens the soil enough to make them easy to pull by hand. I like the long handle for some hard-to-reach spots.

Not as quick and easy as video shows. It is a hoe, that's all. Its not some kind of new wonder tool . It takes a lot of effort It stab the packed dirt. Then the soil is loosened and you can bend over and pull out the weed fairly easily.It is not a fantastic new invention that allows you to easily weed standing up. No.

I requested this for weeding my gravel driveway where other weeders have not worked well. This weeder was able to get through the gravel and remove weeds, and the long handle made it easier to weed without bending over. The sections do tend to unscrew but it is easy to tighten them and I expect them to hold better in the future.

What a beast of a tool. I can't bend and squat over for hours. I bought this to be able to stand and weed. The metal handle is strong and durable. The blade/rake portion is substantial metal that cuts and digs through all weeds. I am also using it to trench around all my garden beds. One of my favorite gardening tools.

4.5 is what I would rate this item. It has a little bit of a learning curve for as simple as it is. It doesn't work as well as I had hoped on some of the grass/weeds I bought it for. I'm reclaiming a garden area with DG that has become overgrown. This thing does amazing for the dried grass.The fact that I can clear a decent sized area of dried grass and leaves quickly without touching any spiders or bugs has big redeeming value.It feels pretty sturdy. I wish the rake teeth were a little closer together, but for the money, it is a pretty useful tool.
