This portable carplay has definitely been one of the best upgrades in the past few months allowing me not only to have access to navigation and good entertainment but also to be able to switch between cars as I do change the cars for work on a daily basis. The installation process is quite easy, just requiring setting up the screen, connecting with my phone and the Bluetooth function works well for streaming music and making hands-free calls. It has a good quality of the sound and everything syncs smoothly with no issues at all. The car for work is quite big and I would always struggle to find parking spaces, however this carplay has backup camera which allows me to see everything at the back of the car which makes it easier and safer to do parallel and reverse parking and the quality of the video is very good providing a clear View of what is behind me. The screen is very responsive and it also allows me to mirror my phone which gives me access to my favorite music and playlists. The design is minimal and it fits well in all the cars that I'm using having just the right size with a large screen however it does not clutter the dashboard. This carplay definitely made my driving experience better making it easy to use and I'm very happy with how it performs so far.

Various power sources work, but a fully charged power bank did not. Luckily, the 12V supply in the car was sufficient. Overall, the experience is good with the wired Apple CarPlay functionality. The touchscreen is actually nice / responsive when using the wired connection (unlike wireless CarPlay which can be a bit laggy). The added benefit of having a charging slot in the adapter for the iPhone is a plus, especially on longer drives. The screen size is just right, making apps like Apple Maps easy to see, and it's bright enough to see even on sunnier days with the roof down. Having an aux and power is great, since I can charge my iPhone and play music through it at the same time, and in an Audi 2008 it fits well with the rest of the dashboard's aesthetic Overall, a good unit.

My car has a great stereo with an aging sat nav, but it precedes CarPlay, which I’ve become accustomed to using in my partners vehicle. This add-on is the perfect solution as I don’t have to spend time and money updating the integrated system and I can take it out when it comes time to sell the car. The system comes with everything needed to install it and I had it fitted and working in under 30 minutes. The screen is bright and crisp, easy to see and the touchscreen is responsive. It’s a great fit for my car and, being widescreen, doesn’t obscure my view of the road when it’s attached to the windscreen using the supplied suction mount. As it was possible to connect the unit to my cars stereo for audio output by a variety of methods I started with radio transmission, and that worked well (though there was some crackling when the music fell silent). I was able to connect via bluetooth, but I had to disconnect my smartphone from the car via bluetooth first otherwise there was no sound. Aux connection works fine too and produces a high quality signal that sounds great. The wireless CarPlay functionality works so well and it’s great to have up to date sat nav maps in my car again! Having all my music on tap is another plus, and being able to control it all by spoken commands that actually work is wonderful (my cars speech functionality has as good as died over the years). The rear view camera is another great addition and, whilst I haven’t installed it as my car already has parking sensors etc., the video is very good quality. I’m really impressed with the functionality of the unit and the build quality. It’s really good value and I think it’s an excellent solution to upgrading a car to CarPlay or Android Auto without having to remove the original stereo system etc. Recommended!

I’ve been really happy with this CARPURIDE CarPlay screen. I have absolutely zero sense of direction and rely on Maps on my phone to get basically anywhere every time I have to drive. This car play screen means I now have a nice, big display to show my route navigation clearly, without having to attach my phone to the windscreen (and then usually leave it behind when I stop). The split display function means I can have the controls for my music player on one side of the screen while the map remains visible. The screen is nice and clear, bright, and responsive to light so that night mode activates when it should. I’ve had no issues with connectivity, my phone just automatically connects to it when I start the car and it powers up. The screen needs a 12V supply, you can’t use mains (unless you have an adjustable voltage power supply), and it won’t run off a 5V USB power bank. If you want to, you can just use the car’s cigarette lighter to power it, but it’s also super straightforward to hardwire if you are confident working with car electronics. There are a couple of mounting options included in the box so you can choose why works best for your car, and the mounts hold the screen securely but still allow it to be demounted easily for security if you want to remove the screen when the car is parked up. I’ve had zero issues with this screen, it does everything I need it to do (plus some extra features that are a nice touch). It’s such an easy upgrade that has made a massive difference in my older car.

Setting it up was pretty straightforward, and the large screen is clear and easy to use, though it does have some minor issues like occasional lag and glare in bright light. The sound quality is surprisingly good, especially with the customizable EQ settings, and I found that using the AUX connection gave the best audio experience. Mounting was simple, but the adhesive could be stronger, so you might need to reinforce it. I ordered this 2024 CARPURIDE 9.3 Inch CarPlay Screen to upgrade my van. It arrived nicely presented in a sealed box with the user guide and everything needed to mount it. My partner managed to mount it. It actually looks nice. The screen is big and easy to navigate through, but it looks good on the dashboard and doesn't obstruct the view. The resolution is good, so the text is sharp and easy to read, and the colours are nice and vibrant. The touchscreen is responsive each time, which is a big plus. It works well with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 1TB to include mirroring the screen. The wireless connection is stable. It should, of course, work with most smartphones as it is a very versatile device. I like that it is integrated with a reverse camera. It made a huge difference for me while parking or reversing my van. The camera has a wide-angle view, and it is nicely shown on the screen. The price is reasonable; it isn't cheap, but I had an older model of this device in the past that I was happy with, so I'm happy to stick with this brand. An excellent and fast way to upgrade and make a car or van look more modern. What is more important is that it is easy to install and use, and I found it very useful and practical. I would happily recommend this screen.

easy setup with an iPhone for AppleCar Play, bluetooth to unit and FM station connection to an old 2006 Ford Radio, clear super size wide screen, screen swipe sensitivity precise and with no lag! very happy with this product, window mount bracket is super strong. I have not setup the reverse camera but will do later on.

En general es bastante buena, la resolución se ve muy bien incluso cuando le pega el sol. El sonido es bueno, inclusive en mi caso aumento la calidad de sonido y puedes ecualizarlo a tu gusto. (Yo recomiendo conectar la pantalla con el cable auxiliar). La cámara de reversa también funciona muy bien, en cuanto pones reversa la cámara se activa y se aprecia bien lo que hay detrás del carro. La conexión inalámbrica con el celular es rápida y estable. Las apps como Maps funcionan muy bien y la voz de las indicaciones se escucha muy claro y definido. El punto malo es que las llamadas se escuchan muy bajito y tienes que alzar la voz para que te escuchen. Pero por todo lo demás está perfecto, si se las recomiendo.

This CarPlay screen is honestly pretty good. Now, there is some issues with Bluetooth on the unit I received, but I use Aux anyway for better sound quality, so it’s not really an issue to me. The display has good brightness settings that I would definitely adjust manually, as the auto setting does not get bright enough in daylight. The EQ settings are incredible, much better than the standard 3 (Bass, Mid, Treble) in my car (2013 Chevy Sonic). I was able to adjust them enough to make my car sound much better than it was, and just with the stock speakers. The "LOUD" option makes it sound almost amped, which was a nice change. 4/5, could have a better screen quality. A matte screen protector may be needed as the glare is a bit too much. Sometimes slow to react to touch, but the price makes it worth it. I strongly recommend using your own adhesives on the stick on stand. I used velcro with a stronger adhesive, as the original gel adhesive it came with would not stay adhered to the stand (but it stuck to my dash fine) during the heatwave. It fell off my dash a few times, and I swapped to velcro and it hasn't happened since. This may have been on me, as I chose an angled spot the first time, but a better spot with the velcro (and some rubber bumpers, as seen in my photo to keep the device from bumping on my dash in this odd spot). All in all, I’d recommend this as a budget upgrade to an older stock stereo, if you don’t wanna fully upgrade your stereo by pulling it out and re-wiring it.
