This is a great product! I have two plastic 5-drawer sets that I use to store knick·knacks. Although the see-through drawers have a frosted finish, I decided that for my new apartment, I wanted to maximize these pieces and turn them into something interesting.The contact paper is easy to put on and easy to take off if you make a mistake. Yes, if you take a piece and put it against the light, it would appear thin, as it should- it's contact PAPER after all. Like any form of "wallpapering," it will get air bubbles if you peel off the whole section you're trying to cover and the paper will go out of place. So I would recommend you peel and stick little by little, and using your hand works just fine to smooth it over and get rid of air bubbles as you go along.I would definitely purchase this pattern and product again. It shipped same day I ordered, and I got it the next day :)

This just arrived and I was excited to put them in my dresser drawers. I open it up and begin measuring. About 2ft in, I could see a big piece of tape taping 2 sections together. If you try to remove this tape, the cover becomes warped. The worst part was the giant black fingerprints stuck onto the tape from what I can assume was someone at the factory who taped the 2 sections together. A waste of money when 2 whole feet are unusable! I checked the rest of the roll and it was fine. I have not checked the second roll yet. The pattern is so cute, but it was DESTROYED by this giant piece of tape and fingerprints. I probably won't buy from this company again.

Great value. I covered my desk, put a back splash on 3 bookshelves, and swagged out my class phone box. It is easy and forgiving to apply. I used 2 orders and have extra leftover.

I was trepidatious about ordering this because I was afraid of it being a nightmare (many years of fighting with contact paper from the '50s-'80s) but I'm glad I did, since it was thinner and easier to re-position as needed, and sticks very well when smoothed down with just my hand. I have a recurring black and white theme throughout my house, so now the cabinets are right in style. I have acrylic nails and found it a little tough to separate the backing at first, but found that turning the paper right side down and pulling the back off the adhesive side rather than the other way around was the ticket.

Absolutely love my stairs. I used this for my risers and made a huge difference. Would have like it to be longer to lay it horizontal but them meant cutting it ans trying to align it just right...which could have been a pain.. actually tried it this was first.. and figured it would not work. Lots of compliments. Lots of patience. Use water or cleaner as its easier to reposition it if need be.

Thos is an inexpensive way to brighten up items. I use contact paper oftennfor my home for storage boxes. This pattern is great. I buy only black and white to match for items in my office area. This roll has plenty to keep me busy for a while.

The reason I gave it three stars for "easy to use" is because I have arthritis in my hands, so peeping the paper from the backing was a struggle but it's not a problem with the product but rather with the customer. :-)I still have a few things to cover but I'm going to draft the grandkids to help get the backing started.Very attractive and striking when installed.

I purchased this not to put inside my bathroom cabinets, but to put it on my bathroom cabinets! I refinished my cabinets by covering them with this to complete my Twin Peaks Red Room bathroom. The size of these rolls is great, the material is a little bit on the thin side though.
