No. That said, the lack of a lock isn't an issue as the blade is nice and secure when closed; it would be almost impossible for the blade to inadvertently or accidentally deploy on its own.

How can you tell the different fake and real bugout knight.

Look at the benchmade logo is one way. The other way is to actually handle the knife. If it’s real benchmade it will Be buttery smooth when deploying and closing the knife. If it’s cake. Send that crap back lol

Is good for self defense?

It could be used for self defense but it’s really more of a general purpose pocket knife that is extremely light. I have lots of Benchmade and Spyderco knives but the mini bugout is my favorite edc knife
