The Usborne Geography Encyclopedia: With Complete World Atlas Paperback – January 1, 2010

My son loves this book. The pictures are wonderful and the information is perfect for his age to read alone and to understand without help, although we enjoy going through the book together!

We've spent lots of time just looking at the pictures and learning lots, without the kids even realizing they are learning. It's a good supplement to learning at home.

I'm using this book to supplement a homeschool geography course. Great maps and cultural information. My kids are looking forward to geography this year.

This is a beautifully illustrated and fun geography book for students of all ages. I got it for homeschooling some of my children. Now that they are all gone from home, I've gotten rid of most of our books and teaching aids. Some books I have hung onto just because I want to read/refer to them again and again myself. This one is a keepter that I've not yet been able to part with. I know I would have loved this geography book, with it's fascinating presentation of geographical facts, had it been available when I was in school. I've found all the Usborne books to be well written and illustrated.

Instead of five stars I would rate it eleven ! Easily readable (no small print) . Illustrations throughout, from the beginning of the Universe to the Present ! DVL

We LOVE Usborne books and this one does not disappoint! Great maps and geographic information but also lots of social studies and science info as well! GREAT book!!!

The Usborne encyclopedias are the best. Very informative, great pictures and graphics. These encyclopedias hold all our attentions! Don't buy just 1.
