This works, the coffee well is a bit challenging to keep all the parts organized. But, it works and its a great solution for our RV.

Amazing espresso maker!! I love my Americanos in the morning. Drip coffee just isn't the same. That is the worst thing about going off for me, I cant take my Espresso machine, and I just do not like the taste of drip coffee since I've gotten so use to Americanos. This little gem is a total game changer for me!!! I took it to work to see how it would do compared to my Breville machine.. It tasted really good, even gives a nice crema. I even made a hot latte while at work just to see if it could be done. All you need it a way to get hot water or heat your milk. I have a hand held frother I just microwaved my water and milk. You can use either capsules or grind your own and use ground coffee. I used ground coffee. The scoop doubles as the tamper. The machine came with a 61% charge, and took no time to charge up to 100% with the C type charger included. Really easy quick process and the taste is really good, I really wasn't expecting it to be that great to be honest since I'm an bit picky but I was very surprised how good it was. I have several trips coming up where espresso drinks are not readily available to me and I will definitely be bringing this with me to hotels and family members homes so I do not have to sacrifice my morning drink. We also go camping a lot and this will be packed. For me this is a complete game changer I am so excited I found this gem. I hope it last a long time I plan on using it all the time. I had ordered this to keep it in my office and it's not useful, after putting the coffee and water I had to press the botton for a long period of time and the coffee came out like brown water. It didn't taste like coffee at all. Tried with hot water and still the same. Don't waste your money.

I have used this at least 10 times now. With a pod and without. It works! It does what it says. The problems however are keep some water next to you when you fill this because you will need add more water as it's pushing out what is in the cup. Also I have learned to hold this above the cup with the bottom off. It overflows super easy even with the water measured out. It leaks and makes a mess with the bottom cup on. You'll have to see what works best for you. All that said it makes a pretty good cup of espresso.

I always glance at other reviews to make sure I am not biased or even perhaps wrong.This has a few negative reviews that in my opinion are based on not reading the product description or wrong device for wrong use. ... said very respectfully.Why this works for me....1) I sometimes want a small cup of coffee for just the caffeine without having to visit the lou a bunch.2) It is what it is. YOU NEED a hot water source. I have a coffee pot that has a temp gage on it. THis is the perfect combo. I set my temp for 185 and go do morning routine. When I return.. I open the puck... and either freshly hand grind or use pre ground coffee. I lost the included measurer/tamper and my finger works just fine...3) It makes an absurd number of cups without charging. I dont use the included container on the bottom but hold it and let it make in the cup I am going to drink from.. 15 seconds max from start to finishFOR ME.. this is a very quick.. very easy to clean up.. way for a shot of caffeine.YES>>> when I want a super tasting cup I use my AeroPress with my pre cut filters etc and it is of course excellent.. Amazon sells them. I actually use the base of the AeroPress to hold the unit if I dont want to hold for the short time. It brews directly into my cup. The aeropress requires much more clean up and time. This device is quick brew and go.. shot of coffee.. and I even run water through it twice if I want a little stronger although this is almost too much in strength.Hope this helps.. Not to disrespect some other reviewers as their points are valid. It does not have a heat source but this is why it makes 100 cups on a charge.. PERFECT for camping imho.Hope this helps.. Cheers

Coffee is very good 20 bar capability making good coffee but don’t forget you need a heater up. You need hot water so kinda pain if you traveling not easy to use you need hot water otherwise if you like it is good because automatic.

The media could not be loaded. Some times it gives inconsistent result. Most of the time it yield a good crema, but it has been a couple of occasions the crema just not there. See the video I took. Sure, I can just make another one, but that means wasting a good pod when it fails to produce a good crema.

My primary reason for ordering the Portable Electric Espresso Coffee Machine is a bit specific. I have a large supply of Nespresso pods but no way to use them since my Nespresso knock-off machine stopped working. Instead of puncturing holes in the bottom of the pods, the machine would simply crush the bottom of the pods, failing to extract any espresso and ruining the pod in the process. I couldn't bring myself to order another Nespresso machine, and when I saw that this portable espresso machine works with Nespresso pods, I thought I'd give it a try. The learning curve was a bit steep for what it is - there are lots of parts. But once I figured it out, it worked great with my pods. I also tried it with my own espresso powder, and that worked too, but not as well. There was no Crema, and the coffee was considerably more bitter than when I use my countertop espresso machine with the same powder. The coffee comes shooting out of the bottom of the machine rather forcefully. I may try a finer grind next time to see if that helps. I love that this is rechargeable and portable. Of course you will need a source of hot water. I'm quite happy that I have a way to use all my Nespresso pods and a portable espresso machine to boot. As noted before, there are a lot of parts, and cleanup is a bit messy. Leftover espresso and water drip out of the various parts as you disassemble the machine for cleanup. Still, I recommend this little machine!
