Pretty good range of vitamins with essential minerals
Pretty good range of vitamins with essential minerals too, which is a must for most people. Targeted at 'active men' it means these are tailored for those who play play sport/work out more than most but as with all products of this targeted nature, it's impossible to tell if they make any tangible difference in that department. That said, it appears a reliable product, the tablets are easy to swallow and the ingredient list is comprehensive and if used with Active Iron as suggested, I can see them as being effective. Worth a try.

Safe for women too outside pregnancy - with Vitamin A
These are easy to swallow and absorb. They do not include iron, calcium and magnesium - despite being described as 'complete multivitamins with minerals'. My previous experience with highly absorbable supplements is that this is because to take these three minerals in very absorbable form, you really need separate pills because of the bulk. But if you use this supplement, do consider your calcium, magnesium and possibly iron intake. My standard comparator for supplements is to consider how they compare to a Boots A-Z, which after all is only about 2p for a daily dose when these are more than 30p a dose. In this case there are some clear reasons - typically twice to four times the doses of the B vitamins. It also contains vitamin K, which is good for bone strength. But strangely, it does not contain iodine. This could be a concern if your diet is low in dairy and fish, for instance if you are vegan, and you do not use specially iodised salt.I had a close look at this pack compared to the equivalent complex for men - the only differences are the inclusion of Vitamin A here (there are concerns about pregnant women overdosing on Vitamin A); a 100% NRV dose of folic acid rather than 200%; and a slightly lower dose of vitamin B6 here. So these would be fine for a woman who was not going to become pregnant.

Good Stuff
There's a lot of debate on the effectiveness, or otherwise, of taking vitamin supplements and the like. But several years ago my doctor at the time recommended I take addition vitamin B in order to help with my low energy levels and lethargy. Doing so I begun to notice improvement within weeks. I've taken them ever since (some 7 or 8 years now) and while I've no tangible evidence to suggest taking the supplement continues to keep my energy levels up . I do know that I always feel worse following a period (3 weeks or more) of not taking them. Now all this may be down to my particular dietary habits or personal metabolism. And so may not be so relevant to others. But for me they work just great. These Active B Complex For Men by Active Iron are easy for me to swallow (with a sip of water) and also have the added benefit of providing a significant dose of vitamin D. Which is essential for maintaining healthy bones. They also contain many other essentials like zinc and vitamin C. At a tad under £10 for a month's worth of tablets they represent excellent value too.

High strength, but expensive
My diet probably gives me plenty of everything I need, including Vitamin B, but as I go to the gym and these are supposed to be good for supporting activity I thought I would give them a go. As with many food supplements, it’s hard to assess the actual effects. However, at £10 for 30 one-a-day tablets these are rather on the expensive side. I recently reviewed another supplier’s vitamin B complex tablets, which probably weren’t as high strength, in a pack of 180 reduced on Amazon from £15 to £7. Even if you took two of these a day and paid full price, they would still be much cheaper than Active B at £10 for 30. There are lots more cheaper alternatives, so shop around. There is no claim that the tablets are vegetarian, so I assume they aren’t.The tablets are round, a reasonable size but easy to swallow. One advantage may be the “active iron”, which is supposed to “ensure optimum absorption”.The manufacturers are an Irish company called Solvotrin Therapeutics. I had a quick look on their website, but it didn’t tell me any more about the product.

Expensive but palatable Vitamin supplements
This is a complete multivitamin preparation that is designed to promote energy, immunity, mental performance and muscle performance – pretty much what every other male-orientated vitamin tablet claims to do. The tablets are palatable and easy to swallow.I usually take a Centrum Advance 50+ tablet each day. These are inexpensive and provide a good range of vitamins and minerals to ensure that that any deficiencies in my diet or exposure to sun. The Centrum provide 150% of the EU Nutrient Reference Value for most of the B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5 B6 and B12). This tablet focuses on B vitamins and provides 455% of B1, 1000% of two different types of B12 and 200% of B2, B3, B5 and B6.Apart from treating clinical deficiencies, it is hard to know whether these high doses carry any benefits. In practice, since taking them, I do seem to have more energy but that is probably related to my sleep and exercise levels rather than dietary supplements.

Given me a bit more energy for the end of the week !
Active B Complex+ For MenThe product. This is a food supplement containing the B vitamin complex. Some other vitamins and minerals are also included.Using.I don’t usually think any of these products are much good if you have a healthy diet but I do try them to see if I notice any improvement. For me they did seem to help me when I was tired towards the end of the week. I felt more like coping with everything I had to do so perhaps these do fill a few gaps in my diet to help my metabolism.Overall.Seem to help with tiredness and brain focus so I will keep on with them. I also seem to have a bit more energy, whether it is these or the perceived benefits of taking them would be hard to prove with out proper experimental testing and evaluation. However, if they work for you - why not.
