I live in central florida and was concerned about something being too flimsy. This is heavy duty and the bottom is heavy to keep it closed. Magnets work well to keep cats out but I can open with one handl. MOST importantly it keeps the small biting flies we are known for OUT while I am working the garage. LOVE it!
