KontrolFreek CQCX Performance Thumbsticks for Xbox One 2 Mid-Rise Convex Thumb Grips Black

These things are great! I have large hands and thumbs so the xbox one sticks feel tiny in my hand. With these kontrol freak things my thumbs are very comfortable and they don't come off. I personally like the convex style. Also I like the CQC bc for me there just the right height. I bought another pair of CQC the next day at a Game S*** just to have a back up pair for later. All in all, great product! But only if it's Kontrol Freak. I've had other brands before and they don't even come close to the quality of these.

I've always been into Halo, and was looking for something to help my terrible aim. I chalked it up to old age (33) and my slowly digressing hand-eye coordination. I will say this took me a bit of a while to get used to. In fact, I'm still screwing around with my sensitivity settings to find the sweet spot. My quality of aim has gone up, though not by much. Maybe getting an additional 2-3 kills? That's good for me, since I suck and I admit it. What it's really helped is that it's made the controller that much more comfortable. I play with only one on the right thumb stick. Don't really need the additional precision on the left. (If I'm wrong, someone tell me.) Need something to give you a bit of that extra shot accuracy? I'd say go with these. In fact, go with the taller ones and you'll get better range of motion.

KontrolFreaks really are worth it. They allow you to turn aiming sensitivity up while at the same time enhancing your ability to target enemies, resulting in much more satisfying gameplay. Of the different options, the CQC's are probably the best compromise between precision aiming and usability, as the taller KontrolFreaks are a little awkward. It's a good idea to try them out along with other ones, though, as you'll never know which Freaks you prefer until you test them yourself. However, if you're only willing to take the financial risk on one pair of Freaks, these are probably your best bet. Importantly, I really think these nondescript CQC "X"'s are better than the CQC "Signature" version. The "Signature" CQC's may have more personality, but the plain "X" ones have a much smoother and, to me, more satisfying feel.One more thing. If you're having trouble appreciating your KontrolFreaks, make sure to turn the aiming sensitivity up in the options screen of whatever game you're playing. Playing with a KontrolFreak attached with the sensitivity too low can result in the gameplay feeling sluggish and awkward. Good luck!

Be sure your controller’s thumb stick is in great condition with the ridges not worn down at all or these (or any stick attachments) will not stay attached to the thumb stick. They attach easily and are very comfortable otherwise. The three prongs they use to attach however are not very strong and would work better if there were more prongs to keep the product secured to the controller while in use.

Received these in the mail today, excited to try them out, but the ones I received were considerably worn down almost as if they had been either previously used or rubbed against something to make the grip fade. I have the same pair for PS4 and they are absolutely amazing. But these for the Xbox One are just plain awful. Not happy in the slightest. Waited all day at work for the package to come, and this is what I got when I came home. Yay!

Packaging only came with ONE grip instead of two. Pretty bad since I paid 16.99 for this.

Can't say anything bad about this product. After a short period of time adapting to the new stick height they have helped with accuracy and overall enjoyment of playing FPS's. Also a perk with the domed shape of these covers is your thumbs will never hurt from clicking your joysticks again!

I have never been a fan of the thumbsticks on the Xbox one controllers. They leave half-circle sores on my thumbs. For the last 6yrs, I have used this version of the KontrolFreeks. The convex shape is much more comfortable, and the added height makes the controller fit my average sized hands better. Each set lasts me about 2 years before the texture starts getting smoothed out and the rubber gets roughed up.I can’t really say if it improves my accuracy or not, as I buy them for comfort and have used them for so long. I primarily play FPS’s and BR’s. They will take you a few games to get used to, but you’ll be good to go in no time.
