Context: I love sushi, but it is ridiculously expensive in restaurants (at least around here). I was wondering if I could make some of my favorites myself at home when I came across this 13-piece set. I had to try it.First, there's not much to say about little plastic shapes that are only strained as much as 2 ounces of cooked rice will strain them. These are plenty good enough quality for their purpose. The tabs on the bottoms of the molds work perfectly and the onigiri I made came out well-formed and easily out of the mold. The little paddle/press is fantastic for pressing the rice down. The various shapes are just so much fun.If you get this product, keep the Amazon page saved because the instructions in the listing are very helpful (assuming you're not already a pro). I will tell you that there are zero instructions or other identification in this package. You get a box with the 13 pieces artfully packaged in a plastic bag and nothing else. But a quick internet search will tell you everything you need to know to make this product a real asset.All in all, I love the set. I would recommend to friends or family.

I am not an expert but do make sushi at home.This sushi maker has made the process easier. The mold are made of thick plastic so is safe for dish washing.Multiple items included in the mold along with sushi maker like small spatula , rice ball molds, triangle and heart shape molds for making kimbap.Sushi rice sometimes may not be perfect and at those time these mold are so handy to have.
