Sharp, drills metal, weak stem
For the price, it worked really well! Had no issues drilling metal. Then I dropped it about 2 feet off the ground and the neck snapped. Ordering another, and hopefully it is just as sharp!

Cuts well.
Seems to cut quite well, drilling into wood or sheet metal. Too soon to tell if it holds up well in the long run. If it's like most of this type of bit, don't cut stainless with it and expect it to last. It eats bits of any type. This bit seems good, and I'd buy another one like it if this one got lost.

Didn't last long
Got me through for a couple uses but like any unibit it was toast after the 5th go around. I recommend using it for all ready drilled holes to make them bigger. Not from start to finish

Not ideal for stainless steel
I purchased this item to drill some holes in my homebrewing kettle. It took about 2 hours and lots of cutting oil to drill 2, 1/2" holes! After I finally completed the holes this bit was completely worn out. It was barely cutting towards the end of the second hole. It might work great for other metals but it is not built for stainless steel.

Disappointed
Unfortunately we thought this was our solution to cutting a hole in our stainless steel sink. It initially appeared that we had the best tool for the job, but within minutes the bit was no longer cutting. The bit became completely dull. In the last 2 days we tried to cut to 1” and came so close. We are now searching for a new bit and realized we probably should have researched our choices better. So disappointed our job is still not finished.
