Yesssss. Get this!!
Excellent. I love it. I had an error code that would throw due to a fault with my particular vehicle. Now, I just pull over and pull up the app, clear the code and proceed. No need to get out, plug in the bulky code reader and reset. This is very simple to use.

Unintuitive app, no cross app support
I bought this and the echo device from the same company. The echo has a very easy to use and solid app. Not to mention it works with 3rd party apps and is the same price. This one however comes across broken. Scanning my chevy sonic with the echo immediately detected everything for me and had easy access to all the features. The bd200 'pro' had me guessing ecm codes to get into the diagnostic tools(it bring up like 4 different ecm models and only one of them is the correct one. You just have to open it, let it load, realiser there's no options loaded and rinse repeat until you do. It technically works, but make you wish it didnt

Works Very Well - The App's Interface Not User Friendly
As the headline states: Works Very Well - The App's Interface Not User FriendlyThe scanner works very well and pairs with my iPhone easily and every time. The issue for me is the app that interfaces with the scanner. It's not very user friendly or intuitive at first. For me I had to wrap my brain around the interface design that has rotating menu items. I'm getting used to it over time but would have preferred a simpler, a straight forward interface. With that said this scanner can do a lot from reading and clearing codes to reading tech speed to battery test to reading O2 sensors to reading VIN numbers and more. You get a lot for your money with this scanner.

don't expect much for this price
"I'm here to advise you not to buy this expensive, retarded device.I didn't have any active DTC on either vehicle, so I don't know if it can reset them or not. I didn't see an option anywhere. I've used several devices like this in the past 25 years and this one is probably the most annoying of any I've tried and I'm dating myself when I say the first one was pre USB and used an RS232 cable. I ended up using an IR thermometer on my transmission pan to set my fluid level which is not ideal."

Only Works With Its Own Proprietary Software Application
I wanted to use this with another universal application but it seems to exclusively only work with its own, proprietary app and likely has a proprietary driver as well. Therefore, I will not be using it and can’t comment further on how well it works or not.

Mr Reliable
The OBD scanner market is flooded with devices boasting thousands of features, many of which end up being either half-baked or completely useless for specific vehicles. Worse yet, some can leave your car in worse shape than before. This scanner doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not—it skips the excessive feature bloat and focuses on doing its job well. No bidirectional functionality, which is both a blessing and a limitation. For the inexperienced, that means you won’t accidentally brick your vehicle with a misguided command. For seasoned home mechanics, the BD200 Pro still offers plenty of value at around $60 with a coupon.Using the iOS app was effortless. Battery testing, scanning the EBCM, ECU, and other modules all ran smoothly. The app’s interface is well-designed, free from awkward translation errors that plague many competitors. Unlike ThinkScan and similar brands, this one feels polished and intuitive. While it won’t replace high-end diagnostic tools for deep repairs, it’s a dependable scanner that has been supported for years. As long as ANCEL continues maintaining the app, this little workhorse will remain a smart buy for those who appreciate a tool that simply works.
