– iFixit Prying and Opening Tool Assortment - Electronics, Phone, Laptop, Tablet Repair

I used the iFixit Prying Kit alongside my reliable iFixit screwdriver set to tackle my Legion laptop teardown. The fans were packed with dust and needed a good clean, and I was also installing an M.2 drive to fit some of my larger games. Despite Lenovo’s knack for making the Legion tricky to open, this prying kit made the whole process much smoother. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence I wouldn’t damage any of my expensive components. The picks are nice and thin, so I never struggled to get into those hard-to-reach seams. If you’re after more advanced disassembly, iFixit offers larger kits, but this basic prying set covered everything I required for my laptop. Honestly, without it, I doubt I’d have managed to open the chassis without risking a broken clip or scratched panel. For the quality and the purpose they served, I'm happy with the price.

Bought this kit to get into my laptop to replace the screen. The quality seemed to be very decent. I came up against a stretch release strip that I wasn't expecting. I couldn't get to the release tab, so I would have really struggled to get the LCD panel out without this kit. It was very useful for removing cable connectors as well. I'm very happy with the value for money. I'll use this kit again and again.

Great for all things Apple!

A simple but useful set of tools for opening and repairing an iPad. It was easy to follow the instructional videos on the ifixit site and it made a daunting task simple and achievable. They are nicely made and sturdy. Good value for money and helped complete a job that would have cost over £600 via the manufacturers repair service

They are a budget friendly set of prying tools for electronic devices. Good for opening devices without the damage from metal pries. Only thing I would add would be a narrower hook for degunking charging ports.

The triangle tools were useful to hold open a screen. The small blue tool was okay, it didn’t fit well to open the screen and the corners kept going dull so I had no edge to get under the screen to pop it off. The other tools were similar, the plastic was very soft so I found it kept dulling down a bit. I got them to work for me in the end but it was a bit fiddly. I understand it’s supposed to break before the screen does but I couldn’t even pop the screen off. Ended up using a very small flat head screwdriver and then used this product to help with the rest.

Much of what's needed to open your electronics, bought to pry back glass off a phone for battery replacement current not done that yet. But have used for other modifications like iPod classic and other electronics

Buen producto. Lo he usado recién para poder abrir un portátil y es muy útil para poder quitar la tapa sin romper los clips, el "lápiz" para poder desconectar los cables de tarjeta madre, etc. Mucho mejor que fiarse de una tarjeta bancaria que ya no utilizas
