If my chimney inside is smaller than the balloon, will is still fit? Not sure which size to buy! Thanks in advance

If the balloon is a lot bigger than the chimney it will sort of slip sideways when it's inflated. Each size of balloon will fit a range of chimney openings but it's best to have an idea of what the chimney dimensions are so you select the correct one. If you measure the dimensions of your chimney front to back and side to side, then have a look at the sizing chart in the sequence of pictures next to the product, you should be able to select the correct size.

can this be used with an electric fire

Absolutely yes! This is because electric fires are designed to be used in flues that are blocked off - they convect heat out into the room, rather than pushing significant amount of heat upwards. So the balloon won't recieved significant amounts of heat even when your electric fire is on! You can easily double check this by turning on your fire, and popping your hand over the top of it to double check you're not getting loads of heat going upwards! Kind Regards, Taylor
