Great helmet but make sure you get new headgear
The savephace carnage f series helmet is a good helmet for the price I give it 4.5 starts it lacks the other star due to the fact the halo headgear they claim to be there top of the line headgear is absolute junk.i swapped it out with the Lincoln electric viking series headgear and now its solid.works great for low amperage tig welding (anything 150) and below the eye fatigue is minimal with this hood compared to my generation x save phace hood.fits as it should and only darkens when myself or a co worker strikes an arc.super light and comfortable on the neck which is a huge factor for me because I wear it 8 to 12 hours a day.overall great hood for the money

Welding Helmet
Bought this as a gift for my son who's taking a welding certification class. He loves the design, style and appearance of the helmet cause men can be a little vain - looks are important. He would have like a Taz-manian-devil helmet but one was not available. He says, the helmet does what it's suppose to do and he looks good wearing it. Excellent value

Protection
The mask is awsome I love wearing it when I weld. But the only thing that NEEDS TO BE TWEEKED is the the overhead part. I've been having splatter and sparks fly over my head and down my welding mask and land in my hair. Funny enough I was sweaty so my hair didn't ignite 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The other thing to is the head band it needs to fit further behind your head for you to have the good view. I don't suggest for long welding use.

Comfort
If you’re a welder this motorcycle lookalike helmet is not your nest bet. Welders have to move their heads at different angles and you cannot look down with this helmet because of the way the chin area is designed. This was a poor buy

Too Small
Carnage is my favorite all time villain in the Marvel Universe. So getting a Welding helmet with his face on it was amazing. However, I cannot use this for welding. The helmet is too small in length, and does not fully cover the face. If it had fit, I would've given 5☆'s.
