Finally!
9/2/21 update So recently I purchased sour cream and onion and jalapeno cheddar! The sour cream and onion ones taste like Funyuns! I love it. I added a little onion powder to make it taste more onion-y. These also have a slight “wet dog” after taste but the onion powder takes that away completely. The Jalapeno Cheddar is awesome! It’s spicy and has zero weird after taste. Cheesy and jalapeno-y. I didnt end up finishing the nacho cheese ones from my original review and probably wouldnt purchase them again but these 2 flavors are awesome! ***** These weren’t supposed to come until tomorrow but I got them a day early! I am so excited about these! These are a total game changer with dieting. I feel like now I’ll be able to actually lose weight because they will allow me to eat less. They don’t taste exactly like cheetos, but close enough. They also are crunchier than cheetos. They have their own unique taste. I got the Nacho Cheese kind and may try the spicier flavor in the future. I’m surprised how good they really are! They are smaller puffs, maybe a little bigger than a dime but that’s not a bad thing. A serving size is a cup so you get a lot for the serving! I am SO happy I accidentally stumbled across these. PS: The only thing negative I noticed about them is that they make your fingers smell like a dirty dog that needs a bath. At least with the Nacho Cheese flavor. They are still good though!

No flavor. Small size for price. They are crunchy though.
Honestly, baked cardboard would be better. There is no flavor to these. The only thing they have going for them is they are crunchy. But they are definitely not something I would ever buy again. I know low carb is not always as good as normal junk food. But let's try harder. Its also a rather small jug for the price and the puffs are very small. Maybe like a marble size or slightly smaller. I was really hoping these would be good. I guess my snack seach continues....

A Decent Keto Snack Once You Adjust Your Expectations
I picked these up looking for a keto-friendly snack to bring along on a road trip, knowing they weren't going to taste exactly like regular cheese puffs. My first impression wasn't great, the first few pieces had a dry, almost cardboard-like flavor that I was still trying to formulate an opinion on. However, after eating a few more, the flavor started to change. I began to notice more of a mild cheddar and protein taste that was actually pretty enjoyable for what it is. It's definitely not the same light, cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth experience you'd get from traditional cheddar puffs, so it's important to go into these with realistic expectations. They're more of a high-protein snack that happens to have a cheddar flavor than a true substitute for regular cheese snacks. That said, they served their purpose really well. While following a keto diet on a long road trip, it was nice to have something crunchy that fit my macros instead of reaching for sugary chips or other high-carb snacks. They helped satisfy the urge to snack without knocking me off track. Will I buy them again? Probably not, simply because there are other keto snacks I prefer. But I'm still glad I gave them a try. If you're looking for a portable, keto-friendly snack and understand that it won't taste exactly like traditional cheddar puffs, these are worth trying at least once.

PROTEIN PUFFS not CHEESE PUFFS.
First of all, these are NOT cheese puffs. They are PROTEIN puffs that are cheese flavored. People get disappointed when it doesn't taste like a cheeto. That being said, they have great macros and are a guiltless snack. They have good flavor, not great. If I'm trying to avoid unhealthy snacks, these are a great help!

So yum
Literally this company needs to reset and let the reviews start over ... These things are amazing, I have eaten a lot of protein snacks, and this one is so good. Complaints about the texture and the stomach aches ... it's a crunchy ball of milk! if milk doesn't sit well, don't buy these! Otherwise, the stomach aches people complain about will not be your issue. Yes, after you crunch away the crunch, the texture isn't great, but you aren't buying protein snacks because they represent a gourmet meal ... eat em, and get to work. Great product.

Close, but no cigar
I really wanted to like these. Got interested in these after watching Dr. Mike Israetel’s video on this diet and his endorsement. I didn’t listen to the other reviews dunking on these puffs because if they could just be palatable, getting 21g protein for 130 calories for a snack bowl would be worth it. Alas they are bad. First few puffs were great, the flavor is cheesy and nice. But the texture is so bad. Takes a while to chew and swallow and its got a strange “cob web” like texture when they’re mashed up in your mouth. I struggled to finish one serving of these and I will likely throw the rest of them away. If Twin Peaks could just fix the texture, make the puffs bigger and more airy, this would be an incredible snack with amazing protein/calorie ratio.

As Expected
These are not going to be for everyone, but certainly are for me. Very much crouton like texture and they do have solid flavor. You do know you're eating nacho cheese flavored chips. Same goes for the other flavors, but this one is the most pronounced. Basically eat these for the high protein content and overall great macro ratios. These are actually more satiating than regular doritos or potato chips and not as easy to just gorge on in general as well. Have been buying the small bags until now, bought the bulk container (not any cheaper in bulk unfortunately), weighed it out and it hit dead on the total weight it claims so overall very pleased.

Great Concept but Nacho Average Flavor Profile
I recently ventured to try the Twin Peaks Low Carb, Keto Friendly Protein Puffs in the Nacho Cheese flavor and I have mixed feelings about it. Firstly, I appreciate the effort in making a keto-friendly snack with a promising 21g of protein per serving. It's often a challenge to find tasty, protein-rich snacks that align with a low carb diet, so this product indeed fills a gap.Upon trying these puffs, the texture was pleasing with a crispy crunch that satisfies the munchies. However, the flavor profile took me by surprise. It somehow manages to remind me of taco seasoning or a meaty profile rather than the anticipated nacho cheese. It’s not unpleasant, but it's not what I was expecting. I found myself unable to eat more than a handful per sitting due to the distinctive taste, which deviates from the typical cheesy goodness I was looking forward to.On the brighter side, the nutritional content is impressive. With only 120 calories per serving, 4.2g BCAAs, and 4.5g Glutamic Acid, it's a snack that doesn't derail dietary goals. Also, the fact that it's peanut free, soy free, and potato free is a plus, catering to those with specific dietary restrictions. The process of microfiltration to separate protein from lactose and fat is commendable, making it a lighter, yet protein-packed snack option.I love the concept and the health-centric approach Twin Peaks has taken with this product. While the Nacho Cheese flavor didn’t quite hit the mark for me, it has piqued my interest to try other flavor varieties they offer. For those who don't mind a meaty undertone to their cheesy puffs or are looking for a protein-packed, keto-friendly snack, this might just be the ticket. However, if you're a purist for nacho cheese flavor, you might find the taste a tad offbeat. In conclusion, the Twin Peaks Low Carb, Keto Friendly Protein Puffs are a healthy and crunchy snack alternative for those following a keto or protein-rich diet. The innovative approach to a healthier snack is there, but the flavor may appeal to a niche audience. I'm looking forward to exploring other flavors to find the one that resonates with my taste buds!

Taste not so good
I'd imagine a much better taste, just get some protein crackers, they taste better.
