If you are looking for a book with nice scenery from Bangladesh such as the beautiful Chittagong hills, the Sylheti tea plantations or pretty countryside, then do not get this book!This book focuses on all the negative things about Bangladesh’s despite the picture on the front cover of a smiling boy.You will find many pictures of rubbish dumps and pictures of the harsh realities of Bangladesh such as prostitution and people who have had been the poor victims of acid being thrown in their faces.Whilst it is true that Bangladesh has many negative/unfortunate sides to it, the photographer has over focused on the bad things and not visited or photographed most of the natural/cultural highlights of Bangladesh.This is a very disappointing book and the only good thing I can say about it is that the photos are of high quality.It certainly won’t want make you want to visit Bangladesh any time soon!
