Perfect cajon for acoustic programmes. I bought it from Amazon because - Saw good reviews and went through videos in YouTube and found that this clapbox cajon is having a unique tone. Then I bought one in last month. Then last week my bandmate and an expert player on cajon, played it and immediately he asked me to order another piece for him. Reasons for it I am specifying below 1. Perfect balance between snare and kick (bass) tones (you should mic it properly) 2. Additional bushes are added at the bottom, which gives comfortable seating and height 3. It's unique height helps us to avoid back pain and stress even while playing for hours on stage 4. If you are not a dying fan of so-called brands, why you should waste money on them? This is affordable for a layman and it is giving better quality of sound than those branded ones 5. for this price, u won't get a better cajon So go for it guys....I am giving 5 out of 5 for it from my experience...

Im a beginner at cajon so i chose to go with clapbox this time because of lightning deal. it's value for money and sound quality is really good. There are many other cajon in this price range you can blindly go with clapbox. Every penny counts and clapbox cajon is worth for money... Internal snares are well positioned it does makes you feel like a easy to carry mini drum set.. Keep learning go with clapbox 🤟🤟🤟🤟 -------------------------------------------------- Edit : After using for a period of time and had few other cajons tried such as LP and pearl... man this clapbox is too basic if we compare this with other brands such as pearl, LP etc.. side by side. But for the price we pay this is a steal the deal.. Also ive noticed the top wood (The sitting portion) gets dents easily on corners !! all you need is to take care of the cajon !! it serves the purpose ... keep playing !!

Excellent piece of Music!

I got the cajon gifted by friends,I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. These are the things I fell for: The looks: The Oak wood finishing in front and the grippy black sides and top go together very well to give the body of the cajon the right aesthetics. The stands on the bottom keeps the wood raised from ground, and also makes the player feel taller while seated on the cajon. (This is beneficial when leaning back while playing). The sound itself: I was surprised at how strong the base sounded, the first time I tried. It had very good sustainance. The single centralised hole on the back, instead of multiple ones, makes the base tone concentrated down, it sounds even better when miked. The one thing that differentiated this cajon from the others I've tried, is the snare. It complements the slaps and high slaps very well to give it the extra kick, definitely making it sound a lot better. Overall, it is indeed a very good product for the price range, and I would recommend it anyday, for both beginner and professional use. Happy to see an Indian brand like Clapbox produce quality products like these. Thank you so much for this guys! :)

Best in range

The product is good value for money. I ordered it a month back and got a discount since it was during Amazon Sale. The product is good. I am not expert but for me it's a good product. The legs are strong and steady. The front is not that strong compared to ones I saw in the store, but I guess the price point just justifies that. I guess it's a good product for beginner like me. Let me clear that my review is based on my experience and knowledge that I have.

Price to Product: Perfect product in this Price Range. Sound: I was worried about the Bass and to my surprise its very good. Both the Bass and the Snare sound complements each-other. Size: The size seems a bit overwhelming to me as i am a short guy, 5'4, but that's not a factor to not buy this product. If you are even short then 5'4 then look for something smaller or else this is a perfect buy. Material and Finishing: Material is worth every penny you are paying for. Don't expect to be very refined wood but its good. The finishing is also very impressive. Overall a very nice product, i am satisfied with it. I've not used it for very long, 1 month only, so a detailed review might differ over the course of time, but for now this looks like a smart buy. If you are buy a cajon for the first time go for it.

It sounds good with me. I dont like crack snares..so I taped them...and I get good bass sounds...
