Nivia Wooden Skateboard (31x8)

It's actually pretty good, way better than I was expecting for the price. This is perhaps the cheapest functional skateboard. The board is a little too heavy, the wheels aren't exactly made of the best material but it is still a perfectly sane skateboard and does its job properly. If you just started skating and aren't ready to invest heavily, this is a really good choice. Regardless of what other reviewers say, it should be duly noted that the product is cheap, very cheap and it would be unfair, or even stupid, to expect a better skateboard for 1K, or up to 2.5K for that matter. Nivia has done a good job for those of us who wish to learn skateboarding but suffer financial constraints. One of the wheels slightly cracked after a month but replacement is cheap and easy. Cheap wheels and trucks are available on e-bay.in.

Before jumping into the review, I'd mention that this is my first and only skateboard and I'm a learner, who is learning to ride watching videos and combining it with instinctive knowledge of physics (balancing, weight distribution, center of gravity, etc.). So, my review is from an amateur stand point.Balance: 5/5.Board wood (truck) quality: 4/5. After bumping a few times on sidewalks and walls, it's wood has started chipping out. (I'm still learning, so it hits solid surfaces quite a few times, but the hit is never too hard.) I weigh in 70-75 kg range, but the board takes it up pretty well, I haven't felt the board is going to crack any sooner.Wheels: 4/5. It runs pretty smooth on smooth surfaces - tiles, wood, marble flooring, etc., but when I go on asphalt, RCC, etc. rough flooring, the speed drop is drastic. It may be usual, but not a deal breaker for a beginner. If you are starting up, you'd probably not go straight to rough flooring. So you may have one not too expensive skateboard for practice and a more sophisticated one when you grow comfortable to go all out.Grip tape: 4/5. Sturdy. It hasn't worn out a bit, even during rough practice sessions. I, however, had to clean it up as it got mud on it, where I used a damp wipe and then dried it. Ever since, I can see a little yellow powder pop up on it as if it has seen termite. I'm sun drying it thoroughly now, just to be sure the moisture has left.Looks: 5/5.Looks: Thumbs up.

The skate board is strong and useful for beginners

The board is nice, much better for such a price and can take a 100kg person easily.. Its tough.. But the wheels are not soo good.. They wear out in a day or two.. And then when dust and dirt enters inside the wheel bearing, it doesnt remain frictionless.. I would suggest anyone to buy this board along with 4 bones wheels, so that when the inbuilt wheels gets worn out, they can replace it easily with the bestever brand 'bones' wheels..

The skateboard is really light weight , its a very good one for any beginner . I am using this board to learn this skill and its serving the purpose very well

Hey Guys Thankyou for reading my comments,so im skating from last 1 year and if You Want to Buy a skateboard then Get a real skateboard not this thing which is a copy, it is not Good at all, if you're looking for Tricks and treats then sorry its not for you.Okay so if you want to get this skateboard or thinking to get this then please dont there are lots of Good skateboard brands like Oxelo,Powell Peralta,Revive,Bakers,Toy Machiene.. Etc get those and you'll get a value for money those are real skateboard and you can ride those and learn hundreds of tricks and enjoy a real good time skating.Well this is what can we say not even a skateboard so why to learn in a copy? When you can get a real skateboard.I bought this by mistake and i regret its bad You can Just Ride this,its like a Piece of wood in 4 wheels and please dont make these copies famous 👊 get something real👍✌ Have fun skating

It's is a very good board. Wheels are smooth after greesing it. Board is very strong. But one thing is not good about this board is that when turning the deck touch with the wheels it's truck hight is not good. This skateboard will become good after modifying it's truck and wheels

Its a nice long skateboard1.it's a bit heavy not much but a little you cannot call it lightweight.2.Smoothness-it's very smooth depending upon the surface you are at.Eg:-on a tile surface nothing can be better than this.On indian roads sorry to say but it's not possible to go through an inch.3.Looks:-it's a pretty looking skateboard.it have open space on above which you can use for stickers and your own artspace.OVERALL it's a nice buy for beginner on levelled place for travelling purpose I don't recommend it.Hope this helps.
