This item was heavy to lift in it's box so I knew it was going to do the trick. Stylish design and fits well under my patio table. I have a large heavy umbrella and this base unit is exactly what was needed. Easy to fit together although would be easier with two people due to the weight. Delighted with my purchase and happy to recommend and as a bonus it arrived in double quick time.

Very attractive design. Have now used it and it does the job well except in high gusts of wind when it will rock. Very pleased with the purchase.

Looks nice but badly made! Broke completely in less than a year. The pole holder is connected to the base by two small bits of metal which sheared off without wind.

Arrived far quicker than expected, does what is expected.

Works OK, stable, not so heavy I can't shift it, heavy enough to keep the umbrella stable
