Product Description Combining elements of a trekking and climbing boot, this approach shoe from Haglofs blends a raft of innovative features and technical fabrics to offer a versatile solution to those who need a shoe that can do it all, with minimal fuss. An EVA midsole reduces the overall weight of the shoe whilst allowing it to remain robust throughout with an effective ground contact. A sticky, Haglofs HSH rubber has also been used across the outsole to offer additional traction on an array of surfaces. Mountain terrain can be unforgiving and trying, which is why a number of technologies have been engineered into the shoe to both protect and secure your feet. An abrasion resistant, TPU (thermoplastic urethane) rubber has been used across the toe and heel to protect the more vulnerable parts of your feet, whilst long, asymmetrical lacing offers an excellent fit and superior comfort. The shoe's upper also makes use of a star-shaped mesh design that allows the shoe to flex more naturally with the foot. The shoe's upper comprises a water-repellent 3D mesh with suede overlays that both reinforce and protect its construction. A GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining intelligently allows air to fully permeate the shoe, whilst offering excellent water-repellency and temperature management. Ideal for moderate to warmer conditions, this lining allows the shoe to be as versatile and adaptable as possible, suited to an array of activities. Haglofs Custom Comfort has been implemented throughout the footbed to offer superior comfort and cushioning, ensuring that on any surface, your feet remain protected and comfortable.

Tough walking shoes
My second pair of these tough walking shoes. Didn't come with mouldable inner soles, and the laces are shorter this time round. There is little'give' in them just yet, but I like them a lot. They are a very good fit for my feet, comfortable and with a 'solid' feel to them. Last pair lasted 10 years ( or there abouts) and I hope these will too.

Sturdy all round trail shoes
I have bought a second pair of these having worn the previous pair continuously for a year. Early on the first pair developed a small tear at the edge of the rubber sole but this didn’t enlarge so I didn’t feel the need to follow up on warranty. Overall really good alround sturdy trail shoes, a little heavier than average but I personally liked that.

Very good
These are high quality, nicely made approach shoes with a stiff foresole. Only criticism so far is that it's not easy to get tension correct just by pulling on the lace ends; the laces don't slip through the laceholes easily enough to allow it, so it's a bit fiddly.

Trainers
These trainers are great and very comfortable and partially waterproof. I've had around 7 pairs over the years. As commented elsewhere only negative is that they crack badly behind shoe cap. Apparently they are no longer being manufactured. Ideal for someone wanting wide fitting shoes for custom made insoles.
