BLACKHAWK Leather Magazine Pouch (Dual Mag for Double Stacks)

I just picked up a new SigSauer P365 micro 9mm pistol. The mags are small and double stack design. I was looking for a mag pouch that would be of good quality and match the pistol and the associated mags. I believe I found just what I was looking for in this BLACKHAWK! leather mag pouch. This was my first mag pouch purchase for a double stack magazine, and the pouch looks like it was tailor-made for the P365 double stack mags. The mag pouch is constructed of very good quality thick, soft Italian leather. The fabrication and finish is superb.

Leather quality is exellent. Quality of item is excellent. Inserting glock 9mm mags I've encountered one problem. Leather to make it is one piece wrapped around and overlapped in the back where the studs you see in the pic go through. The leather for one mag works great. Good retention and easy enough to pull out. The other mag has the disadvantage of being on the side with the tighter clearance (leather under at overlap in back pinches this mag). A magazine can be pushed in but it's very hard to pull out. If i had the thing hooked to my belt and wrestled it out, I'd give myself a wedgie before I got it out all the way. The pouch is still new. I'll revise the review if it loosens up with some use.

I've tried four other 9mm double stack, dual magazine holsters and this one is the BEST!. Good feel. Easy to adjust with either narrow or wider spaces. Tool provided. Easy to put on my belt. Good hold of the magazines but still smooth in removing. Highly recommended!!!! I'm using it right now.

I bought this and another from the custom holster manufacturer that made my holster. Comparing the two side by side revealed that this Blackhawk magazine puch was made every bit as well and had the added benedit of additional spacers to accomodate magazines of differeing thicknesses. The inside of the rivits that secure the belt snaps are made of hard plastic which keep the magazinse secure but also allow them to be easily removed without snagging or scratching the metal. I was very pleased.

I have purchase many magazine pouches including plastic pouches and I would have to say that is by far the best low profile pouch that I have seen to date.This holster will allow for you to tighten the magazines when needed and it is made from real quality leather from Italy. although it cost a little more is it definitely worth it. I am fully satisfied and will purchase a few more for my other handguns.

Snug fit but I expected that., will have to leave the empty magazines and then stretch the pouch out a bit for it to work properly. More work than I wanted to do. No big deal. The pouch has great workmanship and is of high quality leather. Had to loosen the screws as much as possible too. So hope it all works out in the end.

Much more compact than the plastic pouches. The edges, being wrapped, and the two screws in the center, give much better tension control on the magazines. The plastic pouch had one screw in the middle, and the outside edges are unconstrained - and I couldn't get an even tension on both mags. I highly recommend this all leather pouch.

I have several other mag pouches but this is the only pouch that offers a snap closure and TWO slots for different belt sizes. The pouch was reasonable priced at Amazon and the quality of workmanship and materials holds true to Blackhawk's reputation for production of high quality products. I highly recommend this product.
