Good quality, takes a beating
Got this for my Frenchie since he popped every single ball we bought him, even a basketball! Its in his outside fenced in yard going on it's 2nd summer, played with it all winter and still plays with it off and on, great item to knock out his boredom and gives him exercise!

Sturdy, easy to replace
This replacement set has met our expectations so far. It comes with 2 ropes, which I doubt we'll need as it's usually the ball that dies, not the rope. The ropes are much longer than you need, so you do need to measure and cut the rope to get it to hang at the correct height. The carabineer that attaches the rope to the pole seems sturdy. I suspect the weak point may end up being the rubber loop where the rope attaches to the ball. But it's had some pretty tough customers punching and kicking it over the last few months and so far, so good.

Holding up well so far
This has been outside for nearly a month now and the kids have been using it almost every day. I'm not sure I'd call the ball "soft" but it is holding up! It's been in partial shade and haven't had too much trouble with fading yet either. For our setup I took a piece of chain link fence top rail (similar to 1.5" EMT) and stuck it in a cheap umbrella base. This works so-so and we have had the pole tip over a few times. Some extra sandbags help with that some but we might end up doing the concrete/tire route eventually. We'll also be drilling holes to put a 3" eye bolt through the top of the metal tube so that it gets started better (the way we've got the caribner just passed over a jammed-in stick right now it tends to spin full-circle the first few hits).
