GE Pro 6-Outlet Extender

The surge protection was easy to install by plugging into the outlet. The weight seems to he in that sweet spot of not overly heavy and not too light to bring any doubts on performance. I have purchased multiple GE surge protectors for my home and this one is another quality addition. The charging abilities has successfully worked in each port. Based on the wide plugs and cords I was adding I found flipping the ports away from the outlet center and strategically placing the plugs in a patterned manner to maximize utilization.

This was the outlet extension I needed! I wanted a side outlet for the tv cords behind my dresser. This product allows me to keep my dresser close to the wall without smashing the cords’ plugs. It is a quality product with a surge protector and 6 outlets!

This has saved us tons of space to be able to plug things in on the sides instead of taking up tons of space in front of the outlet. This brand also makes super reliable products

Positive: Can go behind most furniture. Plugs come in from the side, making it easy to plug things in behind furniture. All specifications, including surge protection Joule rating and clamping voltage, are clearly stated. Lots of power capability: 1800W, 15A 500V clamping voltage: sufficient for most common electronic devices Negative: Limited to 1200J surge protection. This may be adequate for some electronic devices, but not for computers or high-end electronics, so be aware of that. I would love it if GE made another version of this product with 2000J of surge protection. That would be a good sweet spot for protecting higher-end electronic devices without the need to purchase a large/bulky surge protector. It would also be nice if they had included an indicator light to let you know that the surge protection is working. However, in their defense, it does say it will cease to work if the surge protection becomes compromised, which is reassuring.

Our household uses all types of surge protectors, but this modern one is an improvement over what came before. Firstly, this will cover one or two ports, depending on what type of wall socket you plug this into. This surge protector will give you five sockets to work with, along with USB-A and USB-C, which can share up to 17W of power. We like that the front is flat white because it kind of makes it invisible from the front. The outlets are on both ends, so you can stick something in front of this, like a bookcase, and it will be more flush against the wall than a surge protector that sticks out. Overall, for the price, you get a value surge protector that can plug five things in, along with charging devices via two different USB types. Recommended.

We have ordered two of these. They work great. I like that it has outlets on the sides, allowing you to push furniture flush against it.

Was very excited to find these. They keep a bunch of small plugs near the wall to save space. Contrary to some other reviewers, I LOVE the fact that it has no indicator light. Why do I need an indicator light? I use these in my bedroom and I don't need a bright BLUE light in there at night. I always have to block the light with electrical tape, which is sometimes a little tricky but usually not a very big problem. Anyway, it just stops working after the surge suppressor expires, which should take a very long time in most homes. We have a whole house surge suppressor on top of this so this should last a very long time in ours.

Llegaron súper rápidos. Los problemas de tierra ( ya solucionado). Es muy útil para utilizarlo en espacios pequeños. Marca GE (confiable). Los enchufes a los lados, es excelente. Son 6 clavijas. Pude salvar el espacio, para colocar el TV a la pared. Muy importante, NO tiene LUZ indicadora (no molesta). Espero funcione por mucho tiempo.
