Challenging, Realistic and Entertaining Fishing Experience
I just wanted to add to my review. I have now been able to play this game further and found it very entertaining. I have met all goals to proceed thru all the fishing areas and now yu need more stargety in finding and lauring the fish as you seek the "big ones" Granded the landing of the fish is a little anti-climatic but it does take skil and attention to land time since differnt fish have different movemnets and actions that you need to reach. I am quite please and find it is everything as advertized.I have had the game for about a month and have had time to play. My initial reaction had to do with the fish master. In the initial visit he actually spoke until you where ask to enter your name. When you returned he no longer spoke and you need to read the screen thereafter. I contacted Natsume via e-mail and was pleasantly surprised at the fast response (within 2 hours) with a very precise answer. The reason is the game is limited to 50 lines of audio speech. Nothing is wrong with game this is working correctly. As you go along the Fish Master does periodically speak.I had another issue that the program froze and since I did not save my progress this was lost. I again contacted Natsume again a very quick response with a reasonable answer. I want to take the time here to say that Natsume has been excellent in providing outstanding customer service. Turns out the problem was due to my remote have low power and about to shutdown. Has worked fine. However, I do recommend that you save often.I have now met the goals ad progress from Lake (lure Fishing), Midstream (Fly Fishing), Rock Coast (Bait Fishing), and Back to Lake for Bait Fishing. Caught all species and size of fish. They all fight and act differently and keep your interest. I am now to Open Sea fishing where you have LARGE fish and they jump out if the water and dive as you reel them in.You do not have a line stress meter (like real fishing); you need to get the feel of the fish and its actions to know how to land it. (Like Real fishing). You can go back to lodge gain knowledge where the fish are base don the season and weather conditions (like real fishing). The graphics are very good and you get surface, about surface and underwater views depending on the type of fishing the lures and the action of the fish. I feel this game is addictive and very entertaining. I have rented some of the other fishing games and none provide the challenge that Reel fishing provides. Granted initially it is frustrating and you may not land fish (just like real fishing) once you master the art of casting, reeling and reading the fish it is great. And for the price I recommend this game.

WASTE OF MONEY
I bought this game thinking to give it as a present to my husband who's keen on fishing but haven't got many chances to do so here in France. He was happy to open up the present but when he played on it, disappointed with the non-reflexibility and limitations of the choice of the game. Furthermore, the instruction is not sufficient as we are not sure what, when, how we should do certain acts. And we don't know what's actually happening when we could wait long minutes and keep pulling the rod not knowing what's going on or we are doing it right. In certain points, we think the game can get stucked sometimes, not sure how to explain that, you'll know when you actually play it. To re-play the game, you just always have to come back to the same repetitions which can be very time consuming and boring as there's no button to skip certain presentations. In all, we just don't like it at all and it's put at the corner of the shelf that we don't touch it since then. For people who has no patience (though fishing is a sport demanding lots of patience), this game is not for you.

Need to have a rod.
I strongly recommend having a rod attachment. It is just to hard without one. Also the game doesn't give very good explanation on what and how to do it.

Fishing
This is also hard for me to play. I have a hard time casting. I received it in a few days with no issues. I hope I can figure it out as I love to fish

OK Game
Not much freedom in the game. It has some good items and some poor items. Overall, it is entertaining. However, not the best fishing game I've played.

REEL FISHING
This wa a gift for a neighbor. It appeared that he enjoyed it. He liked this better than a game that his wife bought for him that came with a wii fishing rod.

Keep looking
Too much chatter and too many layers to skip through before you actually get to play the game. There are much better fishing games out there.
