I picked this one out after reading lots of reviews - so very happy with it!! It was purchased to replace another (very pretty) orange ice-maker that unfortunately didn't work - I was so disappointed & had planned to order the same one in hopes that the next would work right. But...I decided to order THIS one instead - and this is better - I LOVE it! The size is smaller, compact & lightweight, easy to carry & move about. It makes ice relentlessly, every time we turn it on, it just does it's ice-making thing. It turns itself off if the bin gets full, or keeps going if you empty the bin & keep the water refilled. We use this camping, keep a small cooler beside it to dump ice into & use it to refill our cups and coolers. Having this has saved us from having to buy so much ice, and from having to go into the big (food) coolers everytime we need a few ice cubes. It's a great little ice-maker!

When I got this I had to laugh because it made like exactly nine ice cubes at a time. And I said oh my goodness this is going to take forever. Before I knew it the bucket was full and I was emptying it. I did learn that the ice sticks together in my own freezer ice bucket. I overcame this by putting it in a plastic zippered bag. Then I could lay this bag flat in the freezer. Then I would bust it up and put the second bucket full of ice in it. I can easily bust the ice apart within the bag, buy gently dropping it onto my counter. I now have ice in the freezer and fresh ice anytime I want it made.I have to keep up with the ice maker because it has a sensor. When the ice blocks it it stops making ice. I have learned to empty it often to keep up with the ice demand at my home.Update....over a year later... May 25, 2020I LOVE THIS LITTLE ICE ROBOT!! NO ISSUES, STILL CRANKING LIKE NEW!!!

Don't get me wrong...it's a great ice machine. I've been using it every day. The only drawback is that I have the setting on the large cubes and about the first three sets of cubes come out on the small side before it starts picking up and making the proper size. I do wish the large size was a little bigger still. But, overall, a pretty good purchase.

Super easy to use, and does what it's supposed to do...makes ice. Its quiet enough we keep it on our kitchen counter. So far no issues. Appears to be durable, easy to clean..great unpacking..not a lot of stuffing and tape and Styrofoam to get rid of. Its relatively light but you also don't want to move it around a lot. Made ice quickly. Bought this for my husband and he says its the best gift he ever got and loves it. We've had it for about 4 months and use it daily

Very happy with this purchase. It’s a bit noisy when cycling the ice, but I am sure that would be true with any countertop ice maker. I am a bit of a water snob so I use Ozarka bottled water in this and love it. It keeps me drinking more water and I don’t waste much due to “other” water ices melting into my Ozarka and ruining the flavor. This is very convenient.

I had been considering purchasing an ice machine for about a year. Finally, I decided to do it. I looked and read up on just about every brand and model. Read reviews. Considered pricing. Ultimately, I chose this one. This one had particular mention of it being quiet. I have had it now for about a week. The noise it does make is almost a relaxing sound, then the water fills sounding like a creek for just a moment. Pleasant! The ice sizes are perfect. The small ice is my favorite, like a crushed ice, but not crushed. As for output, it exceeds my current ice maker in my refrigerator's freezer. Tastes fresh. I have been considering infusing some water with lemon or mint or lavender or whatever and then as long as it is strained, run it through for flavored ice. But I hesitate to do that and lose warranty coverage -- just in case.

This product lasted a month for my husband. Very disappointed in product; made great cubes, nice size, but quit working in a month after purchase.

i wish there was a temperature adjustment for the ice to remain frozen solid while the ice maker continues to make ice. Without this temperature control, already made ice begins to melt and sticks together when collecting ice to keep in the freezer for a gathering. The temperature should remain a couple degrees colder at least. Works efficiently. I really like it except for this one issue.
