Simply Charming Seasons Paperback – September 22, 2008

This is a great book with fast and beautiful projects, I put a quilt top together in 2 days (sewing machine). The only thing there is no conversions for larger sizes, you would have to do the math for yourself.

Its good for small projects.

This book, which is really just a "booklet" is way over priced. At $9.95 it might be worth it but not at $18.00. There are 24 pages in the booklet. Only 2 of the interior pages are in color. Also the cover of the booklet and inside cover are colored. The rest are black and white instructions. I was impressed with the cover pattern, "Simply Charming", so I ordered the book. (The cover quilt is really the only interesting quilt.) The book is very dissappointing. A total of 8 patterns. The other 7 patterns are "Simply 4 Patch", "Simply 9 Patch", "Simply Twisted", "Simply Untwisted", "Charming Birds", "Charming Fat Quarter" and "Charming Queen". The book has lots of instruction in black and white, if you are new to quilting. But for quilt itdeas it's just not worth the money.

This book was not worth the money. The quilts were common place and there was nothing to the book. It was thin and had very few quilts. Not recommended.

Don't let other viewers who didn't read all the information about this book keep you from great quilt patterns. The information on the size of this book is all mentioned on it's Amazon page, you just have to read it. I have made three of these and the clear information was worth every penny.If you want a lot of patterns look at the "Big Blocks" book by this same author, that is great for various sizes but I was working with charm packs and really like this book for what I was making.

There are 8 patterns in this book that can be put together easily using any of the many 5x5 inch charm packs. The instructions are very easy to follow, the best I've seen. Just get your squares, open the book and go. It's so easy! Very helpful and well done.

The quilts in this book are all super fast to make! A beginner can make any of these quilts. You can use charm packs or fat quarters. I enjoyed this book so much that I had to get "Simply Charming Two" that has even more fun patterns.
