Case Logic 17-Inch Security Friendly Laptop Roller (ZLRS-217)

After my last business trip to Europe with a shoulder bag for my laptop I vowed never to repeat the experience - it's just too much weight to carry around for hours and yet at the same time it wasn't enough room to accommodate an overnight stay.Features:The front pouch, secured with a very chunky zipper, is great for smaller things to which you might need ready access - boarding passes, maps, etc. Behind that is a very useful, multi-compartment area that accommodates passports, memory sticks, USB cables and the like. Just above this is a small pouch with wide zippered opening that I find holds a laptop power brick and cables just fine.Moving further back, the next compartment is the primary laptop storage area. There's the padded laptop sleeve, intended to make easy removal for security screening simpler, a dedicated tablet pouch that holds an iPad very securely, and an expanding document portfolio area that helps organize papers and the like.Finally you come to the overnight part of the case, just big enough for a couple of shirts , underwear and the bare minimum of toiletries.The handle extends far enough for me to feel comfortable pulling the bag (I'm 6'4"), and the wheels roll easily over everything I've tried so far.Size is absolutely perfect for overheads, where you'll typically be one of the smaller bags - there's no trouble at all finding space.Construction:Much better quality throughout than I was expecting. Materials, zips, stitching - all very well done and to a high standard. There's a feeling of quality throughout.In Use:Perfect - exactly what I needed. I carry laptop, Kindle, iPad, cameras and other stuff with ease and absolutely none of the shoulder ache I had before!

I already own a Case Logic roller, and this one is cheap cheap cheap in comparison. SERIOUSLY disappointed. Because I travel witha dog, I can't always use my roller (too many things to hold on to), so I wanted a second roller that I could leave in another town when I travel there and then fly from there. As I thought this was the same roller I had, or at least similar -- it was the same full price at Case Logic - I bought this, basedon the reviews.Folks, let me tell you, this thing is cheap compared to the previous rollers Case Logic used to make only a few years ago. My other carrier is a tank. It's actually a bit smaller than this one (l x w), but it's taller in terms of thickness (if it's laying down, it's deeper). And my tank has hard walls, this thing is flimslly as all get out. Seriously, already owning a Case Logic roller I'm trying to figure out where this even came from. Honestly, it could be a bit deeper (but maybe the longer and wider will help fit more). I do worry about getting this on planes, but the other reviews claim you can, so perhaps that's not a problem. But I can't get over how flimsly the sides are on this thing. My other one is virtually indestructible, and for the same price.Now I'm pretty much SOL, as my other bag is at home, and I need something to head to Europe with. But I hate this thing, and am not sure what I'm going to do about transporting my laptop now, as I don't trust this thing with my computer or anything else fragile. I'm blown away by all the positive reviews, and there are a lot. But I'm seriously wondering if the folks doing the reviews have ever had a Case Logic roller before. Because this ain't it.I can assure you that something better has to be out there for this price. There is NO way this is worth the full price. Perhaps it's worth what you can get it for on Amazon. But seriously, buy something else, if you have a choice. I can't believe this will hold up long.Terribly disappointed, and seriously hosed before an upcoming flight.

This is my next attempt trying to find a carry on that can take all my gadgets; laptop, tablet, external hard drives, DSLR camera, lenses, etc. So far I've tried camera backpacks, wheeled backpacks, regular carry-ons, but all left something to be desired. However this roller seems to be the most promising so far. It is small enough to meet European carry on standards (they only allow 18 or so inches instead 21 in the US) but still fits a large laptop (Precision 6400 in my case) and a tablet perfecly. (The included laptop sleeve is actually huge, good enough for a 17 or even maybe a 18 incher so I have to use my previously purchased laptop sleeve which is for 15-16 incer.) It has plenty of space for magazines and papers, and what's also very useful that the front document compartment can be opened wide so no more struggle trying to find your passport or boarding card.My only complaint is that the clothing area could be a little deeper and its bottom is not flat as the handle bar is basically inside the compartment, not seperated. It's probably ok for clothes for a day or two, but it's not deep enough for a lens with case or a DSLR properly protected. (But again, I haven't really been able to find anything yet that carries my stuff properly with still room to go for a sweater, snacks, etc.)

This is truly a dream come true for the short trip traveler like me. I usually only need to be gone for 2-3 days but I must have my 17" Dell with me. i was so tired of trying to shove a purse into a carry on roller so that i could take my laptop bag too.finally a carry on that fits this size laptop!! the only reason I did not rate it a 5 is the space for clothing is just a tad small. (I just have to pack smart and not take any extra shoes!)love the fact it comes with a case for the laptop to take to a meeting and it has lots of little compartments for things, so I think this will help fit toiletries and what not and leave all the clothes in the one section. perfect to take files and stay organized. I think I am going to LOVE this bag. trying it out on my next trip in a few weeks... overall, very excited about this purchase.

Voila un bagage à main très malin: de nombreuses poches et un espace de rangement correcte pour quelques objets volumineux.De plus le compartiment et la housse de protection pour PC est Super.Valise solide ( nous l'avons traîner 3 semaines entres avions et hôtels cet été... et elle est nickel!!! et ses dimensions sont passe partout selon les compagnies: c'était notre souhait...

Le trolley ne sent pas la solidité et c'est le gros point noir du bagage. Si non, le produit est de bonne qualité pour 95 euros. Les PC de 17.3 pouces rentrent sans soucis.
