I do not wear makeup, I've never owned foundation or cover up. An ad sold me on this. For coverage, I honestly don't see much but there is a very subtle effect. My skin looks the same before and after I apply this, but it probably does even some stuff out. I wipe it off at the end of the day and there is color on the cotton pad, so it must be doing something cosmetically. The tint does blend perfectly to my skin, I'm pretty fair skinned but not ivory at all and not olive, plain Jane white skin. It doesn't transfer at all, so that's super nice. It's not greasy, it's almost a tiny bit drying (I got the matte) but I just use more moisturizer before and that fixes that. I do feel it has perfect SPF effect. It smells slight makeupy/foundation/cover up like, but nothing overwhelming. It does nothing for hiding my fine lines. It does absorb superbly into my face skin with zero residue or cake look. It does not make my skin oily or breakout whatsoever. I have nothing to compare this to, but it works extremely well with my skin and just fine on top of my regular simple routine. My true reason for ending up buying it was for the SPF, and it is a fantastic facial SPF product. I feel like I'll maybe be using this in the future, but it hasn't changed my life or anything. I use isntree sunscreen and I'm perfectly happy with that for SPF for a similar price.

This product is so amazing. It literally blends with your skin tone. I’m very light complected. I love that it also has a sun blocker and moisturizer in it. It feels so light but helps you look like you did a little something to your face. Buy it, highly recommend.

I can see why so many people love this product. I bought the matte version and it's very creamy and velvety. I like the pump although I wish the packaging were smaller for a 1.7oz portion. It feels really nice on my skin. I've recently gone from decades of oily combo skin to a much drier skin surface in my mid 40s. Even though it's matte, it's very hydrating on my skin without being sticky or greasy. My only complaint is that the tint is extremely sheer and I wish it had just a touch more coverage. I previously used sun better smart tone tinted spf with great coverage but it's slightly sticky and more than double the price of this.

I don't think this product is bad, but I don't think it's worth the price for me. The scent isn't my favorite when I first apply it, although it fades pretty quickly. It feels lightweight, goes on smoothly, and leaves my skin feeling soft, which I do like. That said, I was hoping for a little more coverage. The tint is so sheer that it doesn't really even out my skin tone or hide any redness—it mostly just looks like I'm wearing moisturizer. If you're looking for a true tinted moisturizer, this may be too subtle. I can see myself using the rest of the bottle I bought because it feels comfortable and has SPF, but since I can buy a different spf moisturizer, I don't feel like this product offers enough extra value to justify the cost. I'm glad I gave it a try, but I don't plan on repurchasing it. Still searching for a good skin tint with actually coverage. 😕

I love the original product, but it left my skin too shiny. I used it anyway, as I loved all the skincare benefits, sunscreen and tint all in one package. I was happy to learn there was a new, matte version. It goes on smoothly just like the original, dries into a nice matte, not shiny finish. It is not drying and itchy and because of the sheer tint, doesn't act like a foundation. A little bronzer and voila! No need for foundation during the summer months. My only complaint is the texture - there are tiny granules that feels like sand when first applying and I am afraid of scratching my skin. No problems after it is on the skin - I wonder if this is the zinc or the oil absorbing ingredients. I exchanged my first bottle thinking it may have been a bad batch, but the second bottle is the same. Since I love the product too much, I will keep using it, but would like the manufacturer to know there is a texture issue with the matte version compared to the original.

This is my second purchase of this and I actually really like it. I’m a guy so I wasn’t looking for something that looks like I have makeup on, I just wanted a moisturizer that covers some pigmentation spots, and this works great. It goes on smoothly and leaves my face looking matte—no shine! Also, there IS a smell to it, but it isn’t this horrible scent that people are describing. It’s not gonna smell like coconut or mint or anything because it’s not supposed to. And honestly, once you apply it you can’t even smell it. So I’d recommend!

I love this matte tinted moisturizer! It goes on smoothly. Matches my skin tone. I did not notice any kind of a smell that previous reviewers have indicated was present. It evens out my skin tones and my face feels so smooth and soft. My face looks almost like I'm wearing makeup but not wearing makeup.I will buy this again.! UPDATE- After a couple of days I did begin to notice a smell when I applied this product. I don't know why it wasn't present when I first used it. It's not overwhelming and it's not truly unpleasant. It's just different & unexpected. It's not an aroma, it's a smell. It dissipates after it's applied.. UPDATE- the smell continues and it also stays throughout the day now. It doesn't dissipate like it did before. As much as I like the feel &the look and the way it goes on,I will not buy this again.

I have light skin with lines, creases, large pores, and lots of texture at age 60. Sun damage left my fair/light skin mottled in color. Rolled the dice on this product after thinking about it for a year. I absolutely LOVE it! It basically evens out my skin tone - to be clear it does not cover everything up like makeup, but it evens out the overall tones and makes my skin look so much better. I don't wear makeup every day, and just wanted to look better on the days I don't wear it. This is perfect for that! I bought the MATTE because I have large pores and my texture is uneven and dewy products emphasize that. Here are some BONUS things I wasn't expecting: 1) my skin feels soft and smooth with this product - that's unusual for me. 2) When I'm just wearing this tinted moisturizer during the day and want to put on foundation at night, I can use much less foundation because my skin is already evened out in tone by wearing the tinted moisturizer. I can even just use foundation strategically. Sometimes I use IT Celebration AntiAging Powder foundation, and sometimes I use Lancome Teint Idole Liquid, but either way on the few days I do choose to wear foundation I use SOOO much less foundation because I'm already wearing the tinted moisturizer. I highly recommend this Drmtlgy Matte Tinted Moisturizer. I was on the fence for a while about trying a social media hyped product, but it does not disappoint! For me, with my skin issues and because I don't wear makeup most of the time, it really makes me look better. Evens out my skin tone overall and you can't see my uneven tones as much, makes my skin softer, and by looking better I feel better about myself. Lasts all day.
