If the hard disk is always under use, read this
Average configuration and average performance. OK for light office and media usage. However, after fixing the AHCI driver problem that caused the HDD to be always 100% use, it has become much better performing. Here are the instructions:--- * ----Determine that the system is running the default AHCI driver (StorAHCI.sys):-* Open a command prompt with administrator privileges. Then type devmgmt.msc in the command prompt window and hit Enter* Under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers right-click on the AHCI controller node and select Properties. This node is normally called "Standard SATA AHCI Controller"* Click the Driver Details tab. If "StorAHCI.sys" is listed, the system is running the default driverDisable MSI for the controller in the registry:-* In the same properties window opened in step 1.2, navigate to the Details tab and select Device instance path from the Property drop-down menu. Note this path* Open the registry editor by typing regedit in the previously opened command prompt. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\<AHCI Controller>\Device Parameters\Interrupt Management\MessageSignaledInterruptProperties, (where <AHCI Controller> refers to the device instance path you noted in step 2.1)* Change the value of the MSISupported key from "1" to "0"* If you don’t know which controller your boot device is attached to, repeat steps 2.1 through 2.4 for all AHCI controllers found under 1.2* Reboot the machine.Also, disable superfetch & windows search services.

Not better but cheap. Not worthy for cheap amount also.Get up is very ordinary. Speed is slow.

Worst product...waste of money
Don’t buy this laptop. I only wanted to do basic office work and this laptop is not even good for that. The processor is so slow it takes 10 minutes to open a mail on outlook. It hangs frequently and will leave you frustrated. I had to buy a new laptop eventually. Amazon should take should have product off its offerings.

Slow/ picture freezes on HD. I just use it to watch videos and basic internet, the reason I bought the product in the first place..poor performance overall

A nice, lightweight budget laptop for everyday general needs.
Lightweight, but so light, that you've to hold the base to open the lid.Fully compatible with Linux Mint Tara 19 MATE. WiFi doesn't setup automatically, but can be easily done with help/instructions given already on the Linux Mint forum.

Seriously, this laptop hangs a lot. It is so frustrating when I am doing work with my boss. Please please please, don't buy this laptop. Please. Don't buy. I again requesting not to buy this laptop.
