‌Bought this Procus Convoy Car Dash Cam along with Procus Rush 4K Action Camera on Diwali sale from Amazon. Got this car dash camera for 3200/- which is a marginal price I think. Installed the camera successfully on my Swift VDI. It gives a standard look to my car. Before installing the camera took some demo videos and put on the laptop. Clarity of the video in normal day light is awesome. Very good clarity if you have a good exposure. Night recording is not upto mark as the camera do not have inbuilt night vision. I think they did not attach the IR(Infrared) lights(for night vision) intentionally. Becase as we are fixing the camera infront of the glass, the IR lights will reflect back and we wont get a clear video. [I have few suvelience cameras in my home and i had experienced the IR light issues during night for those cameras i kept near the window glass pointing outside.] However, the car headlight and street lights may help to get a standard video during night time. It will only support 32GB micro sd card, could have upgrade to 64GB as it helps in long drive to record more. Yet to check how stable the motion detection, G-sensor function and the park mode. During demo video making the motion detection worked well. The product comes with 120 degree FOV, which is a good wide angle. The product display is not up to mark, so always use a computer or laptop to check the image quality. It comes with a mounting bracket, so far it looks so strong on the windshield glass. Comes with a longer adapter cable. We can neatly fix it inside the car as per our convenience. Overall it's a standard car dash cam. It's recommended to have a dash cam in your car as we are driving on Indian roads. So far so good, everything is working well n good. The only concern now I have is to check how durable it is......!!! :)

I generally do not like to invest heavily in electronic items because they are designed for quick obsolescence and have unreliable QC standards anyways. The Procus Convoy comes at an affordable price, looks and feels robust and does the basic job well, based on my experience of about one month of usage. I don't know if the footage is usable for any professional quality filming, but if you want the device to record other people's driving methods (and yours!) and how a particular untoward incident happened, this device is worth it. Overall footage quality is good and the recording manages major variations in light within the scene much better than the typical reversing camera systems which probably cost the same and do not record! The only two negatives are that the buttons need to be pressed hard, there is no bundled SD card and in loop mode it only makes clips of 5 minutes duration each. Also, in case of an emergency, you need to press the lock button to protect the footage on that file. There are various impact and parking / intrusion protection aids to record and protect footage but none such incident has happened so far so I am not sure how it works.EDIT: Since purchasing the product, I have had two failures. At about 3-4 months, the charger failed. Procus did not show any positive action to replace it in warranty, so I have been using it with a USB cable. At about 8 months, the tightening ring of the mount adjuster broke, so now the camera swings wildly. The product is one of the cheapest so quality issues are expected but maybe it would have been wiser to buy a more expensive product (assuming they deliver better quality!) The camera itself has been working perfectly fine.
