Is it good for a complete beginner? Which one from other models do you recommend for a sensitive skin and beard?

It is higher on the aggressive scale for a beginner. Albeit a bit more expensive i would thoroughly recommend either of Merkur 34CHD or Edwin Jagger DE89. You cant go wrong with either of them. Very forgiving for a beginner and experienced person alike and very very suitable for sensitive skin. Hope it helps

Since the Parker 99R is fixed on medium aggressive, is this a good option for an 'adjustable' razor with 5/6 different settings for aggressiveness ?

The 99R is around 3-4 on aggresiveness of Parker variant adjustable razor.

I’m using it for 8 months now and it works like a charm. No complains, both the looks and functioning is as new. So, should be original.👍
