Intex SMPS Techno 450 20 + 4pin Sata

I bought this as a replacement for my desktop SMPS which blew up earlier. This product is working satisfactorily and has met my expectations till now (I have been using it for close to a month). The only things I don't know yet is its performance & reliability in the long run.

Seller shipped product as described. So no complaints on seller.The product works OK. Intex as a brand has been consistently churning out low quality items and the standard is applied to its brand of PSU's as well.Cons:- Fan makes too much noise- The outside case is very weak and bends with the lightest push.- The power supply is extremely light ( The lighter a power supply is, The cheaper the quality of components used inside.)- This power supply weighs just 500g. My older dell 300W supply weighs 4 times this with better components inside and lasted me 6 years.- There is no switch on the power supply to turn it on or off.- There is no led light indicating the health of power supply.- Cables are of poor quality.- Maximum Continuous output of only 200W!!! LOL. Low quality PSU as usual from intex.- the actual wattage rating for this power supply should be less than 300w. It is filled with junk cheap Chinese lcomponents insidePros:- Does what its made to do, Powers your PC.Final verdict:Using this power supply is like waiting for accident to happen. You are putting so many component of your pc at risk of getting fried. So only buy this power supply if you are willing to spend more money to replace your burnt cpu and gpu.

good seller and original intex, although if you are a gamer who has more than 2 hdd or high performance pc then its a bad idea, its good for office or home use gamers and high downloaders( with 2+hd) use something like Corsair

I am writing after use almost 3 week about the problem facing. That the one sata cable not working as to connected to ASUS dvd writer.another sata cable connected to my 2 hdd by sata converter. Smps restarting CPU continuesly even when Smps power enough for my pc as to failure of connection supply though i am using ups which is working fine.

It's an okay product for your daily work.Not for gaming though.Decent and easy to install.Go for it.

Perfect SMPS for the small computer. The SMPS which came with the tower got faulty due to voltage fluctuation. The tower came with a similar power supply and it was easy for me to replace it, Fan in the SMPS is really load, does the job but if your build is an expensive one i would recommend a good quality power supply.

Received Intex Tango instead of Intex Techno. Working good as of now. Hope it will work well and support my PC with mid-configuration for long time.It has 18 A on +12V rail as compared to Intex Techno which had 20A on +12V rail.I wanted to return the product but I'll just wait and watch.Edit: I had purchased it in October 2016. It has already started malfunctioning and causing OS freezes. It didn't even last for a year.
