I really liked this little elephant stool, which I am using as a stand for my water fountain on my back porch. It is adorable and well made. My husband even noticed it has a small hole in the trunk which you can put incense in! The trunk is facing "UP" for good luck too, which I really love. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great accessory for their porch, garden, or home.

The item was boxed and inside a large foam mold that fit around it to protect it. I would think that unless it fell from high up or something heavy was set on it, it should not take any shipping damage.Material Quality:The stool is made out of a plaster like material, typical of what a garden plant pot would be made of. The listing says it’s a resin. Maybe it is I cannot be sure but it feels more like a pottery material.Assembly/Build Quality:The seems well made and solid. It is hollow and not too heavy but sturdy enough for me to sit on and I am about 190 lbs. Only issue I have is that it has a slight wobble to it in one direction. It does not sit perfectly flat.Marketing Material:The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) represent the product well enough in terms of the shape and over all look. The color seems to change from image to image which could be an effect of the lighting conditions when the image was taken, but also some look a bit touched up with either fresh paint or photoshop. Another issue I have is that the listing says it is “hand-carved.” The mold may have been hand carved but this item is definitely cast.Functionality:This stool can indeed be sat on as well as used as a small table. As mentioned above, the one I received has a slight wobble where it will rock in one direction so it is not perfectly flat. This could be due to the casting and it is possible not all will have this defect. It can be used inside or outside and I think it will hold up being outside, though if it is resin like it says I don’t know how well it will hold up with constant UV exposure.Price:This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $109.90. This price seems a bit high for just a cast stool.Likes:I like the overall design.Dislikes:I wish the bottom was more flat/level. It is not terrible, but it is noticeable when sitting on it and its slightly rocking in one direction when you shift your weight.Overall:I would recommend this item if you are looking for a nice indoor/outdoor stool/table to add some interest to your room or patio. It has a great look to it and seems sturdy enough to last with proper care. The only thing I would advise is to catch it on a sale.

You never know about the color of something like this, but I am thrilled. It’s sturdy and doesn’t weigh much but not light enough to get blown over on a windy day. Great detail!

The carving on this resin stool is really cool, it definitely looks like something we might have brought back from some exotic country. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it being resin, but it's really hard to tell from the texture that it's not carved wood. It also means it's much lighter than a solid wood carving would be -- not so light that it's unstable (in fact it's downright solid as a stool) but light enough that I can easily relocate it around the patio.

Although I think this is a tad high in price, it really is a beautiful piece! It’s heavy duty and the quality feels like it’ll last for years if taken care of. The detail is great and it really is a calming piece for our patio. We’ve placed a good size plant on it and it looks amazing! I highly recommend this for yourself or for a gift for any elephant fan

Pretty patio stool, looks nice, similar to in pictures, and is a good size for an outdoor stool. Works good as decoration or as a table for potted plants. Shipped in a pretty heavy box but easy to set up.
