Great product

Just a heads up. I just got the new AirPod Max headphones (USB-C) in blue and the sky blue case is a perfect match!Everything the case is supposed to do it does the quality is good. The zippers are nice. The inside is plush and for the price I seriously doubt you could get a better case.I have not tried it with the Apple case on as well, so I don’t know if that works, but frankly, I don’t care because I hate the Apple case.The magnets seem to work just fine. I left it in the case overnight and the battery didn’t drain at all so I think you have to just pay attention when you put them in to make sure the magnets are sort of moved into the right place because it works fine here. 👍🏼👍🏼*EDIT on 10/03/2024The Apple Case does fit inside.The case itself does work - goes into low power mode. I have to wonder if some folks are not putting the magnets in the upright position before closing it up?Also, ZERO smell. I really love this case. After a couple weeks, I’d def recommend it!

This case is as compact as you can get while providing complete protection. It feels a bit on the cheaper side of things but it’s forgivable given the value it provides. The inside is nicely padded and has a soft fleece like fabric that will hopefully protect the Airpods Maxs from scratches.The accompanying photos show the comparative dimension between the case and the AirPod Maxs, this way you can get a sense of the size of the case.If anything goes wrong with them I will try and update this review.

I bought this case to protect my expensive headphones a bit better than the standard case and to give me a little space to carry the lightning cable, a charger, and a lightning to audio jack cable. Much simpler.The case is well made and feels good, if a little heavy in places. Perfect fit for the AirPods Max and provides the extra level of protection I wanted. The flaw is small but also simple to fix.The AirPods will switch off completely when the small magnets are detected. Unfortunately the leather holding the two magnets is thin enough between them that actually stick to each other and don’t connect with the AirPods properly. The result? Your battery drains. A LOT. Kind of a pain when you go to use them and discover they are dead.Simple fix: I got an old watch strap from some kind of FitBit or similar that is made of a rubbery substance. I then cut a short length and placed it between the two magnets (see above). The magnets still have enough attraction that they hold the cut piece of material but have enough separation that they easily trigger the AirPods to switch off.As such, four stars. Close but no cigar.

Amazing case

Hopefully other buyers can read this review when considering to purchase. This review is as of 7/11/21. I have a few important points to mention about this product and why I am pleased with it and recommend it. #1. I don’t usually take the time to do this, I’m doing it because I did a bunch of research and looking around before and after purchasing this. #2. my case did not have any smell to it, the comical reviews about the toxic/obnoxious smell must be for an older version or something. #3. Now for the most important point. I’ve seen other products out there claiming to be a “smart case” meaning they put the headphones into low power mode, but it looks like the more savvy users have actually realized that these cases actually don’t work! So, one of the great features about this case is the ability to store the headphones inside their original Apple Smart Case. Even those you technically have to remove the headphones from two cases; this definitely provides the protection needed to transport and store these headphones and is just the right size. Not bulky or taking any extra space than just the headphones themselves. Anyway, all in all, I think this is a safe buy and you can’t really go wrong if this is the type of product you’re looking for.

This case is an awesome accessory for your Apple AirPod Max’s. They protect your headphones while traveling or when you need to put them in a bag while you’re in the go. The case is sturdy, easy to use, puts your head in low power mode while charging with the built in magnet flap. A must have IMO for anyone who has a pair of these every expensive headphones.

The case overall looks nice visually. I picked this one originally because the interior matched my blue airpod max headphones and there was a space to store the charging cord and adapter. It has a nice hard shell that seems durable, and the interior material is a very soft velvet that coordinates perfectly with the color of my headphones. That all is lovely. HOWEVER, the zipper/design is overall faulty. Since the zipper has to zip around the curved corners of the case, how it is designed or manufactured, the zipper catches and is unable to zip closed. This happens on both sides where all you can zip is about an inch and then the zipper gets stuck. I have tried everything to try to remedy this and get the zipper to work, but to no avail. So I have been using and storing my headphones in here but without the ability of being able to actually close the case, which is NOT worth the price. I wished they would have used a better zipper because everything else is nice. I am currently looking for a new, better case. Also, I saw another post about the bad smell, but I don’t remember it ever having a strong smell and just smelt it now, and it doesn’t smell like anything.Tl;dr faulty zipper, buy a different case if you actually want to zip your case closed.
